Very convienent location for our trip to the Roundtop Antiques festival. Clean rooms, but also booked because of pool, jacuzzi, & continental breakfast. Weather changed & was too cool to swim. Hot tub didn't work (heat up)and that's one of the main reasons we stayed here. Their front sign also advertised pool & jacuzzi. Mentioned to front desk, got a I'm sorry, parts on order. No adjustment to bill. Also, wasn't a continental, though decent resturant next door owned by the hotel. Stated they never offered continental. Overall nice but probably wouldn't stay again--too expensive for what you get.

Problem I had was getting a smoking room when I requested non-smoking immediate after making the reservation. moking rooms/ I think all hotels should be non-smoking.

The fact that this is a two story Inn, it should be mentioned in the hotel description that there is no elevator on the premises. Naturally, all the first floor rooms go quickly, so if you have problems with stairs you are up a creek. Trying to get a disabled person and luggage up and down the stairs was not fun. For that reason I would not stay there again.

Friendly staff, free hot breakfast. Room had mold on air conditioner vents. Could not take the smell. Switched rooms, but the new AC was loud with dripping water sounds. Did not feel clean. Slept in my clothes. Thought I would get all least the quality of a Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Select, or Fairfield Inn.

The location and access were okay. The room was not clean. We couldn't stay in a smoking room. The clerk got very upset when I asked for a non-smoking room. The room was not clean (dust on the coffee table).

The door to the room didn't go all the way to the floor. It was in the middle of being remodeled and the door to the room did not go all the way to the floor. We changed rooms once but had the same problem.

The grounds were as spotless as the hotel. The only thing I can say negatively was the Kleenex box was empty. I brought my daughter for college tryouts so I will be back just to enjoy what Brenham has to offer in the near future!
