Very nice. Had no problems with the service

The room was clean and comfortable. Outside doors to the hallway did not require a key to get in the building. This hotel is great if you are not traveling alone. I was nervous about the outside doors not being locked. Anyone from the street could have just walked in the hallway to the rooms. I will probably not stay here again, if I am alone.

The staff was great, but the rooms were not clean.

This was, by far, the best Best Western we've stayed at. (The other would be in Branson, Missouri).Good Points: Very pet friendly. Large, clean, comfortable room and beds. Hairdryer, TV and refrigerator in room. Clean bathroom and shower. Friendly and helpful desk staff. Very clean indoor pool. Nice location, (across from hospital), and about a mile off the interstate. Close to a variety of fast food and other restaurants. (Try Joe's Crab Shack. It was wonderful). The pictures you see on Travelocity's site are exactly what you get from the Amarillo Inn. Wonderful free continental breakfast with 2 extras that no other place we've stayed at offered. Aside from toast, begals, english muffins, danish, cereal, coffee, tea, juice and fruit ...they also offered biscuits and gravy as well as made-to-order waffles! A basket of mints was placed on the table as you leave the dining area. Nice touch! Overall, a very good value for the money, in my opinion.Bad points: None really. Just be sure to ask for a 1st floor room if you can't climb stairs.Would definitely stay at the Best Western Amarillo Inn again.

Nice hotel, clean with friendly staff. Loved the Texas-shaped waffles included in breakfast!

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly! Nothing. Wonderfully helpful staff. We wanted adjoining rooms and the first room we were in didn't join with the second room we had but the front desk staff was very quick to move us to the room that did join with our other room. Great continental breakfast and very family and child friendly place to stay!

We stayed here for two nights and we were disappointed. The stairs leading to the second story were coming apart, making it easy to catch your shoe and possibly trip. Once in my room I immediately noticed the broken mirror in the closet door. the windowsills were peeling their paint, and the phone light constantly showed messages waiting, despite the fact that I called the desk three times and was told they were turn the blinking light off. This place is an accident waiting to happen.

Initially thought "oops, wrong hotel" when we drove up and walked into the room. It turned out all right, though. It was average, nothing spectacular and I did like that we had parking on the inside parking lot (not inside parking, but not parking that is not along the road/vehicle would not be an easy target for vandalism/robbery). Staff didn't knock themselves out to get us towells for the pool area; checked out the next morning and the computer was down so the guy couldn't check us out unit IT had fixed it-whenever that would be (thankfully, having used Orbitz, all we needed to do was give him the key and go). O.K. for a quick, overnight stay; don't expect classic, new/wow factor. Wouldn't use it as a "base" hotel.

Good value for the money. Had to cool the room down when I first got there because the drapes had been left open and AC was off. Clean and economical place to stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of television channels and internet. I was pleased.

Hotel staff makes this place! Everyone is eager to help and so genuinely glad to have us there. I'll stay there again on my next trip for that reason alone, but the beds were great too!

Location was ok. Not nice at all, not worth the price. Poor quality.

The head of housekeeping worked very hard to find us a smoking room that did not smell too awfully bad. She was great! We had to have a smoking room because all non-smoking rooms were taken. The hotel was great except we were put into a smoking room. I tried to talk to the kid at the front desk and he could have cared less. The head of housekeeping heard us talking and she did her best to try to find us a non-smoking room but, they were all taken. She did work to get us into a smoking room with the least amount of smell. I was traveling with my 76 year old father and he cannot take the smoke smell. He did a great job and she should be commended for her effort. If I had been traveling with my son we would have had to change hotels because he is allergic to smoke.

The staff there at the hotel were friendly and helpful. No elevator. I would stay there again if I needed to. I will also recommend the hotel to others. The hotel was clean, quiet, and easy to find. All of the staff that I had contact with were very friendly and helpful.

After suffering various deceptions in other hotels, the Amarillo Best Western was a sight for sour eyes. There is no indoor passage to get to the breakfast. No hassle, good people and straight forward information is what you get when visiting the Amarillo Best Western. Good service for the breakfast, Texas shape waffle and a good orange juice. The best of course was the double strong coffee they served in the breakfast area. God blest.
