The service was great but there were a lot of shady people arond the building. There were empty cases of beer laying around the fronts of rooms. My daughter said that she even heard people screeaming for help in the parking lot. It was a little scary for all of us.

Free buffet breakfast for adult and children. Trying to locate it. We enjoyed our stay.

Reserved two nights, was guaranteed a "king suite". Turned out to be a regular hotel room with a nice king bed which overfilled the room plus a sofa bed which was old, thin, and lumpy. When we tried to pull it out, it was stuck and took the better part of 10 minutes to get it out. In addition, while pulling out the sofa to get the bed out, numerous bottle caps and trash were scattered behind the bed. The breakfast was truly lousy. The room is miniscule, you end up stepping over other folks to get your toast and dried scrambled eggs. This is truly overpriced. We had paid for two nights in advance and left after the first night because the room truly was not what i expected. Best Western should be ashamed.

the room service was bad. It took over 2 hours to get our meals. the pool was not heated and the hot tub was not heated and one jet was working. the room was small for a family of 3. But the beds were great

We had a fabulous time. There was no restaurant but there are plenty around. The only negative was that it really wasn't in the foothills

We stayed at Best Western Catalina Inn on Oracle Rd in Tucson, Az for a week. It was very busy the weekend we arrived due to University homecoming. When we checked in they had us down for a smoking room, even through the reservation showed nonsmoking and were made 4 months prior. They were able to accommidate us with a nonsmoking room. We spent one night in that room. First we found it to be too small even though it had 2 queen beds, which was great sleeping. Second, the carpet was really dirty, my feet were black after walking on the carpet a short time. The next morning we were sneezing and blowing our noses so much we had to ask for a different room. Again, they accommidated us with a free upgrade (Gold Crown member) to a King 2 room suite. We were much happier and stopped sneezing! They offer various types of rooms and have wonderful beds. The pool was on the small side and the depth went from 3 feet to 8 feet very fast. Not a pool for little kids. Also, were the tables were set up outside around the pool and cafe had alot of bird crap on the cement walls. Not too appealing. The full breakfast was also wonderful, with 3 kinds of juices, milk, 3 kinds of cold cereals, 2 hot cereals, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, sausages, waffles, various breads. All the staff were very pleasant, friendly and accommidating. We would difidently stay there again.

The ROOM its self was very clean!!!! The bed was great! The overall room was very decent however, the exterior of a establishment could use a HUGE wash. I was shocked the inside was so nice considering the exterior was a little beaten up. BUT! dont let that keep you away the inside of the rooms were decent. I could stay 3 days max and be ok.

I stayed at the Best Western Inn & Suites in Tucson and had a very negative experience. My room was located near the Housekeeping center (washers, supplies, carts, etc.) and this was the noisiest stay I have ever had in a hotel. I could hear the housekeeping carts being rolled by my room constantly starting from a very early hour (about 5am), the staff talking to each other, and various maintenance around the property. The housekeeping noise wasn't the only disturbance--other guests were quite loud outside their rooms and the patio area around the pool during "social hour" and into late in the evening made the entire property far from a relaxing atmosphere. When I called to ask to be switched to a different room, the front desk was less than accomodating, despite the hotel not being at capacity. This room was so loud and intrusive that I checked out of the hotel four hours before I needed to leave for the airport--I didn't have anywhere to go, but I would rather be anywhere than at that facility.

The front desk was very knowledgable with directions . The beds were very comfortable, rooms clean, great complimentary breakfast and social hour. They have grills and accessarys to use at the pool area. I felt very safe walking around the area even in the evening.

Booked a Suite in advance for a 2-day stay. Perfect location for seeing the sites in and around Tucson. The breakfast was excellent and the evening cocktail hour was really nice. Helped to unwind and visit with those that felt like talking with you. Will definitely be back and will tell friends that are heading that way.

Great location, close to a mall and good family restaurant on premises. Friendly staff and very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating upon my arrival. The room was like a small apartment with a separate beautiful bedroom and a full function kitchen with full size refrigerator and dishwasher. There was a lounge area in the room with full size sofa and desk and TV separate area from bedroom. Loved the quietness and the breakfast was restaurant quality with scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, waffles and many other choices. The room was clean and the pool area was inviting. The vending machines only had sodas and other beverages and when I selected one it gave me a different flavor than what I selected and it was a ridiculous $1.50 to get the wrong soda. The only thing I did not like was that on my 2nd day there I wanted to sleep in so I out the privacy sign on my door and in the afternoon my guests came by so around 5 I called the front desk to ask for late house keeping and I was told the housekeeping was gone for the day so I never had my room cleaned that last day I was there which is one of the things I look forward to when I stay in a hotel is coming back to my room and the beds are made and there are fresh towels and in this place they normally brought a complimentary bottle of water as well but on this day none of that was done and when I asked for the bottle of water they said they lock up the water in the housekeeping room so they couldn't even give me that. They did bring me 2 towels and put them on the coffee table in the lounge in my room. Not really what I wanted at all.

We drove from NC to Tucson and the bed here was by far the most luxurious and comfortable.Breakfast was decent with real scrambled eggs, waffles, fruit (pink grapefruit, bananas). Room wasn't big but decent and we had no problems with the wireless. Room was clean and comfortable. Would definately stay here again for that bed!

Even though we prepaid for 4 nights, on the first day the hotel checked us out while we were at a nursing home visiting my very ill mother. They even let someone else try to check in to our room. Thankfully nothing was missing. It took over 1/2 hour to resolve. A very superficial apology from the desk. Air conditioner stopped working in the night. Took three tries to fix and still would not work, then moved rooms at 9pm. They tried 3 sets of keys to let us into our new room. We were let in with a master key. Finally had to wait until the next day for our own keys. When we described all that happened at the front desk the clerk said merely - "that's odd." No apology.

contrary to it's name, this motel should be renamed motel's R us. the room was mediocre, there were no movies available, and wireless Internet was hit and miss. there was a DVD player in the room but no close options to rent or borrow any movies. the rug was uncomfortable as was the bed. the "free" breakfast was only available to 9am (tough for a Sunday). there wasn't any room service and the coffee shop had a limited menu which was different than the full Mexican menu found in the room. the train noise was quite annoying. would not stay here again. for the price of this room, I expected much more from this "motel

After driving from Seattle area, my wife and I were beat. Very nice room and great location, just a few miles from downtown. Only complaint is that staffing is minimal at night. I asked the front desk for another top sheet for the bed and got a wool blanket.

Very clean - friendly staff. This hotel was very clean and convenient. The outside pool area was very nice. The hot breakfast had a lot of variety - very good.
