Stayed in this hotel on 3/14-3/17. During my stay there I was in two rooms. Both of the rooms had leaks in the bathroom from the bathrooms above. The first time the change my room. The second time I told them about the second room leaking-the just filled out a report and did not offer me anything for my trouble. The heater/ac was leaking also. (Floor was wet in front of it)Would not stay or recommend this hotel.

This was a great Hotel! The staff was friendly and rooms were excellent. Newly rennovated.I was traveling with my family and was looking for a great location to I-485 and uptown Charlotte only approx 7 minutes. The girls and I stayed there because it was close to uptown Charlotte. The rates were great! Would reccommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is in a great location with Chili's next door and other food places not a far distance. The room was very clean and quiet. You could make your own waffles for breakfast. Great experience for the price.

Aside from exiting the location (required a U turn to get to Independence Bl) nice stay normally could do it w/o a long wait. The room was clean though the main chair in it had a nasty looking permanent stain. The free breakfast was pretty standard but good, had fruits, Belgian waffles, bacon or sausage and eggs. Great value for the price would stay again.

Poor desk clerk when we arrived, could care less about helping customers. Hotel was nice, clean, good breakfast, cleaning staff was courteous and professional. Front desk clerk was horrible! Could not care less about helping us, made us sit and wait for 20 minutes to check in while she talked on the phone. I liked the hotel but would not recommend it because of the poor desk staff!

Room had a very loud air conditioner. This hotel would be great for business travelers, or a quick overnight. There was no pool, but there was a workout facility and laundry room. The continental breakfast was very good. Staff was very friendly.

Was in Charlotte for the annual woodworking show at the Merchandise Mart. Location was conveniently located next to a Chile's which was great. Had good service and clean rooms.Second time that I stayed here. Only problem was at check out when the desk clerk made me pay for my room which had already been paid for through Orbitz.It was a Sunday and no one could help me with my problem.Hotel manager said that the desk clerk was new and could not tell that I had already paid.It was cleared up by the manager on Monday when I called back .My credit card was was credited to clear the problem.

The customer service is unmatched to any hotel. Amazing hotel for the prices you could get on Priceline. They offer a very nice stay, and the hotel is always in top shape.

The Best Western Independence was very clean and comfortable. It had everything that I needed for my two day stay.No problems with chek in or check out .Very friendly staff .Location to what I was doing was pretty convenient.It was not as close as where I usually stay but it was much nicer. Very satisfied overall and I would recommend to anyone.

The staffwas very accommodating and friendly. The room was clean and attractive. The location was convenient, the internet worked great, the front desk staff were inviting and knowledgeable.

The rooms were really nice,and the bathroom was large and clean. My only complaint is that it was a bit further from the airport than I thought, it took about 20 minutes to get to Charlotte-Douglas.

Room was okay. Nothing special. Have stayed in nicer Best Westerns. Staff was not very friendly. Breakfast over at 9:00 am- too early! The clerk, at check in, told us they only had a smoking room. Luckily, the room actually did not smell of smoke, have stayed in much worse.
