early spring 2009 - limited serviceI chose Best Western because it is a 3-star hotel that deserves its stars - in contrast to other crappy 3 star hotels in Paris. I stayed there because of business reasons, but had time for some weekend sightseeing. Excellent is the wireless and free Internet access in the hotel rooms that aided my research. Breakfast was not included, which costs appr. 18E, which I chose not to take. There is coffee provided in the room, and a mini bar that also includes soft drinks and small snacks. The single-person room had a slim single window so that daylight was lacking in the morning. The air condition was turned off and the remote control removed "because it was not summer yet". So to get fresh air one had to open the window. The location is central - 10 min from the center and 5 min from the Arc de triomphe. Metro station is literally around the corner. There are several restaurants and bistros next to the hotel, including Japanese and Chinese. Thus, critiques that apply are already at a high level, as the rest of the room (cleanliness, friendliness of personnel, bath room) was excellent.

Cute room, clean, lovely bathroom, super clean, romantic set up, very nice location, friendly and professional stuff. Just the fact that I got charged when I had already paid for the room, no time to argue, had to catch a train to London. The room was small, but perfect for two people, very pretty decorated, had a fridge with drinks and snacks, the bathroom was big for the room, and everything very clean, the location was great, in a very nice area, the clerk let us check in early! that was great!

The staff was the most friendly and accomodating group I've ever encountered traveling abroad. Always smiling and wanting to know what else they could do for me and my daughter. I can't wait to return!

The location cannot be beaten and the staff was extremely friendly. Our room was not cleaned on one day (accidentally). Excellent location, friendly staff. Room and bathroom were a good size for the price. Make sure to walk down to victor Hugo plaza and try any of the wonderful cafes overlooking the fountain.

Second time I have stayed here on business. Arrived 3am by car and night receptionist was really helpful; had already taken some boxes which had been dropped off, up to my room, helped me with finding the nearby underground parking etc. Room standard as you expect of Best western, - clean, with good comfortable beds. Great location next to Victo Hugo square with nice cafes, 2mins from Arc de triomphe and 5mins drive from the peripherique. Not a sumptuous breakfast but usual choice and most importantly decent coffee.
