This hotel was two blocks form my business destination and the hotel shuttle to the "T" and Harvard Square made travel to and from nightly dining easy and convenient. Travel via the "T" to the airport was about 45 min with only one transfer.

Convenient and affordable for the Boston Marathon. The person on staff was not experienced enough to know how to handle all of the turmoil. I was able to adapt to my room situation and for my needs for the Boston Marathon, the location turned out pretty good.

Although it was in the process of installing wifi access to all rooms, resulting in a small degree of unsightliness, it was still clean and attractive. The staff were friendly and helpful; the place was clean and comfortable. Better continental breakfast than I expected, too! The location next to a Whole Foods store was another positive surprise. Transportation may be inconvenient without a car, but the Alewife T station is walkable. Oh, the $12.50 overnight parking fee came as an UNpleasant surprise.

I have stayed at the hotel twice. It was very nicely decorated. It was close to the T, a drug store a supermarket. The shuttle service was very good and friendly. The room was tastefully decorated and the breakfast was good for the price. I will return for further business and pleasure trips.

Neither the hotel nor the booking site indicated that the hotel was under major renovation. What hadn't been re-done was dingy and worn, and the rest was literally a work site. If I had known, I would not have booked - I paid far, far more than the experience was worth, as for $20 more/night, I could have stayed at a 4-star hotel that was just a little bit farther away. The pool was closed, the restaurant was closed - basically, you got a room to sleep in, and not a very new or clean-feeling one, at that.

The price was unbelievable. Apparently glitch in system got smoking rooms for $26. The floors are split between smoking and non-smoking. The stale stench of smoke permeated the halls. Bringing air freshener saved us from the very strong smell of smoke that was in the hallways. Continental breakfast was nicely done and worth. Hard to find location, but 10 minute walk to the subway allowed us to get around Boston easily.

good value, cheap parking, great shuttle service to local companies.

In for Harvard graduation; wish I found this sooner-good value overall. 12 parking- a bargain in Cambridge! Our cont. b'fast was included tho' I hear they are now charging 5. Not bad. Convenient location if you have a car (tho' nothing charming) -close to the T. You cannot walk into Harvard Square; drove everywhere. Clean room, very freindly, helpful staff...nice for the price. Nothing fancy - good basic hotel with some nice upscale touches (scented soaps, bathrobe, even covered the blanket with 2 sheets!)

This hotel had the location and price we were looking for. However the hotel was under renovation at the time, so noise was a bit of a problem. Overall, it was worth the money for the location!

Good location in Cambridge. There is a Whole Foods & Starbucks adjacent to the hotel. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean, and a free shuttle is provided for areas such as Harvard Square.

Hotel very colse to business contacts, as well as eating establishments.

We stayed there for the location to be near my daughter and also because it is pet friendly. There was no additional security and there was no covered parking, so no advantage.

On a busy corner at the end of a strip mall so not terribly appealing from the outside, but inside is quiet and tastefully decorated. Friendly staff, very good continental breakfast and nice warm pool. Shuttle or short walk to a ""T"" station to get to Harvard or Downtown. Or walk directly to Harvard square in about 20+ minutes. Disappointed by the 12/night parking fee.

My daughter and I very much enjoyed our second stay at the Best Western Hotel Tria. We were particularly impressed by the availability of a free shuttle that took us to a good restaurant and picked us up after dinner to take us back to the hotel. We were also impressed by the warm welcome our dog received. The hotel was clean and comfortable and within easy walking distance of Fresh Pond which was a bonus.

Staff friendly. Decor a bit drab and the view is a parking lot under contruction.Still, the hotel is pet-friendly and the rooms fine, breakfast good, location close to most of Cambridge.

The hotel was ok, the room was comfortable but the location was not great if you plan to spend time in Boston vs. Cambridge. It's probably better suited for a family that could utilize the indoor pool and breakfast area. It's located fairly close to a subway stop, which is a good thing because the wait for their shuttle is 30min. or more. Overall I would say if you don't mind being outside the city and not near any 'hot spots' it's a reasonable selection...

Very poor value for the money. $12/night parking fee at this location is a rip off. Location is not very good. DO not have any good places to eat or recreation near by. Batch room was so small that one will stuggle sitting on a toilet without squeezing under the sink. Onlt plus is the walking distance to T I will not recommend this to anyone.

It was the worst located room in the hotel. It was next to the ice machine, which was loud, and the window was completely blocked with a neon sign. The interior of the room was satisfactory, and I was tired, so the noise from the ice machine was not a big issue. Also the hotel was completely booked, so I had no opportunity to change rooms.
