They don't respect the DO NOT DISTURB Sign. Very poor English comprehension. Internet costs an astounding $150 HKD/24Hr or $30HKD for 30 minutes. The pool is closed for 9 months of the year Hard to brethe in the room and nowhere else to chill out.

Not non-Chinese speaking tourist friendly. Staff can hardly speak or understand English. The Hotel has no shuttle service to the Airport or sea port.

the room was spacey and clean with all the norm. the staff were a bit cold and rude, but generally helpfullish....its a good idea to learn some basic mandarin if staying in this area as not many people speak english. the hotel facilities was closed due to seasons so no swimming pool or fitness centre was actually available. no breakfast included either. a pleasant place to stay and no complaints about the room, just the odd niggles!

Our room was dingy and cold. We stayed here over the lunar New Year and we had to ask for extra blankets as we couldn't sleep. If it had been any other time of the year, and we were paying regular prices, we would probably have thought "we got what we paid for", but we were paying a premium because of the time of year, so we were quite disappointed.

the room was large clean and comfortable. the staff didnt speak very good english but could kind of get by, they are not too friendly sometimes, its better just to ignore it! the hotel has a bar but it closes early and a casino. it also has a pool, but it closes with certain seasons so worth checking it out when its closed. no breakfast included in room, and no resturant in hotel

We stayed only one night but was greatly surprised with the size of the room - 2 queen-sized beds! If you do not wish to enter the casinos, have only the night to roam the town and wanna shop till you drop, this is not really the place to stay. It's located in the quieter part of Macau but we loved the quiet & had a really lovely 20 minute walk to Rue du Cunha - lots of restaurants and pastry shops. No souvenirs, though. Very quaint roads, perfect for walking.

The hotel lobby will welcome you with a strong smell of cigarette smoke coming (which i discovered) from the hotel casino at the ground floor. The room is spacious and clean but the bed is so hard. Housekeeping service is quite good. Food served at breakfast was the same for the 4 nights we stayed that consisted only of cereals, boiled eggs, vienna sausages, congee and bland vegetables, coffee/tea/orange juice. The hotel is near the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino just 4mins by taxi. I suggest that the hotel reception should employ more staff who can speak english.

If you want to be away form the city center, this is a hotel to stay. It's a walking distance to the lake and old Taipa Village. There are some casinos nearby if that's what you are after. Expect a bland breakfast and bland service.

Average all the cleanliness, facilities and service is ok. But this hotel should renovate the room. cos i realised, the carpet and the wall got water coming near our bed.

Unlike other Hotels in macau, Best western's shuttle bus schedule starts late (11:20 AM) and ends very early (7PM)

This hotel has very comfortable beds, good location, close to Airport and other shopping area. Breadfast is soso, not much choice. Overall OK.

Front desk staff was pretty rude, but everything else was good. The room was a pretty good value for money and the location was good.

The hotel staff does not speak english at all. None of the staff could help on pretty much anything. The buffet breakfast is really really bad, not only it tast very bad, its the same breakfast over and ever each day. Therefore if you stay there for more than three days, you will be eating the same thing over and over.

I had a good time staying in this hotel, the rooms are nice and excellent value, the breakfast will fill you up for the day and it is very near the venetian which for me was definetly a highlight of my trip to macau. The hotels fitness equipment was definetly lacking and the staff speak little english, but if you know what your doing and were your going its okay. In comparison i stayed in the best western sun sun in macau and the staff are very friendly, its an excellent hotel and stephanie the girl in charge couldnt have been anymore hospitable she was very pleasant and helpful and helped make the holiday one to remember. I would recommend both hotels but if you want excellent service and all your questions answered go to sun sun 10/10.....

This hotel is very good value and is in an excellent location, being within walking distance to the new Venetian complex and having lots of good restaurants of all levels in the old twon of Taipa very nearby, yet very close to the bridge to Macau proper. The rooms are very large. The only negative as far as we were concerned was that the gym that they advertise consists of a bicycle and rowing machine only.

This hotel offers good value for money in Macau. It tends to be used by short-stay mainland Chinese who go to Macau to gamble, so dont expect any of the frills or hospitality you might get in similar hotels elsewhere. However, It is only a 10 minute walk from old Taipa village where there are some excellent restaurants and the Taipa Tavern. It is also a 30 pataca cab ride from the Venetian which is a must see, if only to gawp at the excesses it represents. Good shuttle bus into the mainland ferry pier and a short cab ride into Macau city for shops and sightseeing.

The room are big and clean but location is quite out of the way as they only provide 1 free shuttle to the ferry terminal. Very quite in the night but at least there is a bus stop nearby. Nothing much you can do in the night, so if you just need a room to sleep ok for the price we are paying.
