I have always had great experiences with this hotel chain. My boyfriend and I booked this hotel as a weekend getaway to Columbus for Valentine's Day weekend. We were highly disappointed! The area in which the hotel was located was not the best. The shower lacked pressure, the internet connection was poor, and the noise level was awful. The lounge was open until 2 am. We went there at about 11 pm to hang out and immediately turned around. The characters that were pouring into the bar made us feel very uncomfortable. We ended up back in our room with the door dead bolted all night while people roamed the hall making noise until about 3:30 in the morning. Finally, check-out was at noon. At about 11:15 I took some things out to the car and when trying to return to the building, found that my key had been deactivated already. I was let in by an employee. When trying to get in my room my key still did not work. My boyfriend let me in and then tried his key which did not work. I thought that all of this just added up to bad luck on our part, but upon leaving, another gentleman was attempting to get in and was also locked out of the building. He apparently had been having a similar experience to ours, because he seemed very frustrated and was making several explict comments. Overall, it was an extremely disappointing trip, and I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone. Not typical of Best Westerns.

Do not stay at this hotel. The hotel is fine, but it is located in scaryville! The staff were friendly and helpful. The business services (Internet Connectivity) were nonexistent... If your just looking for a place to sleep it's okay, in general it not agood place...

Latina Night, held every Friday and Saturday kept some in our family up until well after 2 am. Saturday night someone plowed into 4 cars, totalling 3 of them. The quality in the rooms was VERY poor. The smell of smoke in the hallways and in our bedroom was awful. If you want a cheap, noisy place to stay with absolutely NO amenities, except for internet service and a lousy continental breakfast, this is your place.

We got a great rate from onlie travel website!! The hotel is right near the highway with lots of places to eat nearby. The hotel clerk changed us to a king room without any problem. The room was clean and it included a microwave and fridge. The continental breakfast was adequate and included scrambled eggs. Our schedule did not allow us time to use the pool or other facilities. We would definitely stay here again.

My family and I visited the Ohio State Fair and booked this room for convenience to a lot of things we had planned. When we arrived the hotel was awesome, it has two pools, a fitness room, resturant and lounge. But looks are deceiving. At night time it was a nightmare. There were kids hanging outside the lounge and in the hallways yelling and slamming doors. The pool was closed at 9pms but people were in and out all night slamming doors and partying, and people were lurking in the parking lot all hours of the night. I did not feel safe. The lounge also played music so loud it could be heard in our room on the opposite side of the motel. I was still up at 1am complaining to the front desk, the customer service at Best Western and even pondered on the idea of calling police. It was a horrible stay! Normally I would love the Best Westerns and stay at a lot of them due to my traveling at least once a month. I was disappointed!

It was really a great location for all the things we wanted to do. We went to the zoo, Polaris Mall, Easton Mall, COSI, and the fireworks downtown. Everything was very close, but it was nice to come back to a quiet place. The music from the bar was very loud on Friday and Saturday nights. It would have been nice to have a room further away. They only had us checked in for one night when we had reservations, through Orbitz, for three nights. We came back, from being away, and our keys would not unlock any of the doors. The woman who helped us, at the desk that day, was very nice and apologetic. Water pressure was terrible. We really enjoyed our stay, overall, and would recommend it to anyone.

We loved the facilities in this hotel. My son loved the fitness center and my daughter loved the pool. I quite enjoyed the jacuzzi and the convenience of a room that opens up right to my vehicle! The contential breakfast was awesome too!

Just passing through. Nice quiet room. Problem with no TV reception during rain storm. Need to be in lobby for WiFi unless you give them $100 deposit for WiFi Card. Rooms were clean and quiet. Fridge and microwave in room.

Very happy with the room. For the price, it was an excellent value. Really nice blanket on the bed, not the cheapy acrylic one's most places have. Nice cotton sheets too, and a good bathroom. Lot was full on Saturday night, I had to park next door, no big deal.

Overall, this was a good stay. However, when I booked the stay, Orbitz asked if I had any special requests...I requested adjoining rooms. After booking, I was instructed to contact the hotel to make sure I had my request fulflilled. The desk clerk was very uncaring when it came to my needs & was actually rather cold. My husband called later, got a different clerk & was treated the same way. We were told first come, first serve...they didn't care what the situation was. However, upon arrival, they allowed a very early check-in & we got our adjoining rooms. The rooms were very clean & neat. The kids loved the pool, although it closed a little early (10p). There was some group of children staying in the hotel...they were noisy & poorly supervised, running in the halls late at night & even knocking on the doors well after midnight. The continental breakfast was outstanding...including hot scrambled eggs, cereals, oatmeal, breads, muffins, danish, bagels, a variety of juices, coffee, fresh fruit. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

I chose to stay at this hotel because of the price and the reviews it was given. I was visiting my son at Ohio State Univ. I liked it because it was inbetween OSU and Polaris Mall/shopping. The room was clean and comfortable. The only noise I heard was some talking from people leaving the Spain Bar in the evening, but other than that, it was pretty quiet. I would stay here again.

we come to columbus for tournaments and stay at various hotels and this was one of the worst.the rooms are small ,the bed is only a full, the shower is made for a 4 foot ,90 lb. person, and the beds were awful.the sliding doors were not that secure.we stayed by one of the entrances and we heard the door slam all nite long!!!!! what a waste of my money!!

Air conditioner didn't work. Called service desk and they immediately came to the room and installed a new one!! Location was not bad; not far from Nationwide Arena. Breakfast served starting at 7 am but had to leave each morning by 6:30 so that was a disappointment. Refrigerator , microwave and coffe pot in room was great since we brought food with us. Room was clean, neat and had lots of towels!! Was a great bargain at that price. Thanks Cheap Tickets!

A friend and I stayed for the week of the Quarter Horse Congress. Very nice hotel for the money. Under 10 min from the fair grounds, very close to dining, walgreens and a grocery store. Breakfast was very basic, but they were good at making sure that everything stayed stocked. We didnt use any of the addititonal facilities, but we were very happy with the room. Will stay again next year.

The entrance to the hotel was hard to find. I drove around the buildings several times before finding the entrance. The inside of the hotel was a bit of a maze. My room was clean, however, I the second lock on the door was only a chain link. The deadbolt barley locked I slept with a chair infront of the door due to safety. The first floor has sliding glass doors all leading on the outside, I asked for a second floor for security reason and the check in staff member was friendly and changed my room. However, I wanted to extend my stay and stopped by the front desk several times as well as calling and could not reach a staff member. Overall, I would stay here again if I had to, but I would perfer not to stay alone at this location. My stay was nice and quiet except when a group of children kept playing with one of the entrance door located beneath my room.
