Moving our daughters family (in school)to Alexandria on a limited budget, we went with the cheepest we could get. The hotel is older and not that close to Anexandria (6mi.away but the traffic was tough). Our stay was clean and a welcome site after days of longistical events. (no pool for the kids but the price reflected that)

The rooms were very clean, the staff very friendly. We drove 5 hours and spent all day touring downtown DC then driving in traffic to the hotel, when we got there the desk clerk was very nice and the room very clean and inviting. It was very convenient to shops and restaurants so we didn't have to drive far when we were tired. The next morning the breakfast at the hotel was great to start our day on another day of sightseeing.

This hotel was fantastic and exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and the continental breakfast was more than some more expensive hotels offer. The king size bed was wonderful - nice and soft. They gave PLENTY of pillows, unlike some hotels. There was a microwave and fridge in the room too! For $**/night, it was well worth it. Wireless internet would have been a nice feature and is the only thing that keeps me from giving it a perfect rating! It's a short ride to Mount Vernon, Fort Belvior and the Springfield Metro train station, so it's location is perfect.

It was our first time in Washington, DC and without the help of the wonderful staff of the Hotel we wouldn't enjoy our trip so much as we did. They even helped us with the GPS on our rental car. The location is very good (12 miles in a straight line from the Airport) which was good for us since we didn't know our way around the city. Also it is close to the metro station and attractions like Mount Vernon. No big shopping mall close by. Over all we were very pleased and would recomend this hotel gladly

AC did not work - very loud when it did. Crib was not setup for us even though we called ahead for late check-in.

Room located on first floor near door between lobby and hallway, could hear door open , needs to be repaired. Needed to iron a few items, outlets were so loose that the cord would not stay plugged in, need to be replaced. Lobby and hallway were dingy needs a fresh coat of paint. The computer in the lobby was on a desk that faced the wall which made it possible for anyone to stand behind the user and view passwords, etc. needs to be arranged to protect privacy.

The hotel lobby and reservation desk were clean and neat. I liked that a computer was available for checking e-mails. A complimentary breakfast was provided with a good selection of items. The breakfast area needs some improvements, i.e., decoration and set up.

Friendly staff. Having to sign agreement to pay 300 bucks if smoked in room. Clean, safe and comfortable for the money. Lousy breakfast buffet included with room price. Desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

Employees were helpful and courteous. The room was clean and spacious . The complimentary breakfast was more than adequate and tasty with plenty of variety . Location is great for sightseeing and evening dining .

Hotel (except breakfast room) was very clean and nicely decorated. Parking is available but a little awkward entering and exiting across the highway. Staff were very pleasant and helpful although my requests for a 1st floor room and crib were not available upon arrival. After talking with the manager, it was worked out. This is NOT close to Metro station--about a 15 minute drive. Breakfast is worst of any Best Western we have stayed in. Yogurt was served bulk, open in a large bowl and unlabled as to what it was. Fruit was a large bowl of canned fruit cocktail and at 8 a.m. there was 1 orange left for us!! Donuts were cold Donettes ( 7-11 type). Room wasn't very clean and there were a few flies. Overall, these deficiences could be easily fixed.

The hotel was crowded, with only one person working the front desk. The first set of keys they gave us did not work. So I had to come back and wait in line again, only to get a 2nd set of keys that did not work, so I had to wait in line again, to finally get aset that worked (only 1 of the 2 keys in that set worked). Then, after getting into bed, cigarette smoke started pouring into our room from people in the next room (thru the dividing door). This is a nonsmoking hotel, but despite my complaints, they would not stop smoking, and the person on duty was not able to make them stop. Finally I insisted on being moved to a new room, which they did. It was a decent hotel, and the person on duty did the best they could with what they had to work with. But overall it was not a good experience.

Easy to find on Richmond Highway. Very strong cleaner chemical in the room. The people at the desk were very helpful and courteous. The bedding pillows were various firmnesses and there were a lot of them. I loved that.

The room was clean and well furnished. The bed was comfortable. Friendly helpful service at the front desk. Breakfast was good but not extraordinary. Plenty of free parking. One computer in the lobby for use by the guests. Several local restaurants and fast food extablishments nearby. Very good value for the price. We would stay there again.

Our vacation was pleasant. The hotel staff were friendly and went above and beyond their "call of duty". I truely wish that I could have brought the bed home with me. I rate this as an excellent experience overall. Would stay there again if I were to return.

Location to the main road. Lack of things to do on site. This is a no frills single star hotel. Great location to the highway, however nothing to do when you are there.

This hotel provides good value for the money if you want a no-frills, good basic services hotel. Our room was clean, everything worked, and was well serviced daily. Wireless internet is available through out. It is a good place to stay to be near other attractions,

The remodeled rooms are great. I had to move to another hotel as soon as I entered the room because the air condition was on and the fan was blowing hot and the fan was rattling. This hotel has been remodeled at it looks awesome. I can tell the maids make sure the room and towels (fanned out like a flower) are presented well. I do believe there are still some maintenance issues. The grill on the air condition was broken and the fan was broken and rattling and produced no air. I heard all this "sound" from the air condition when I entered. Someone must have known this when they turned it on. Needless to say I was given a room right away. The receptionist switched my room right away! I was kind and appreciated their quick response.

The gentlemen who worked the front desk during the time I was there was friendly and eager to help. Other than one person, the staff was either rude or indifferent. This hotel is clean, but not a "warm" environment. It was below my personal expectation, as a business traveler, and I would never take my family. The rooms were clean, but reminded me of a hospital room. My TV was broken and the internet connection ran fairly slow. The breakfast provided was sub-par to say the least. If you are looking for a quiet place to lay your head, this is adequate. If you are vacationing or looking for planning a long term stay, for the money I highly recommend looking elsewhere. If not for the fact I needed a shower for work daily, I could of had as good experience sleeping in my car and saved a lot of money.
