Best Western Hotel Marmorata Ravello

The Hotel Marmorata is situated along the coast between Minori and Amalfi. Thanks to his central and strategic position it is easy to move for reaching all the wellknown places, either by bus or by boat, because it is possible to embark directly from the Hotel for Amalfi, Emerald Grotto, Positano and Capri. It is really wonderful to appreciate the beauty of the coast by the sea. Driving up on the mountain, there is Ravello, Town of the music, where Wagner composed the Parsifal, famous in all the world for its two beautiful villas Rufolo and Cimbrone (this last one is just like a terrace overlooking the coast ). Amalfi, an old Marine Republic town, is important for his S. Andrew Duomo, the Paradise Cloister, the Arsenals and the Emerald Grotto. Amalfi is well connected to Capri with boats and hydrofoil. The isle of Capri is unique in the world, famous with his Faraglioni, the Blue Cave, the square, Anacapri and the villas. Taking the motor-way, not far from the coast, there are Pompei with his Excavations, the volcano Vesuvius and Paestum with his temples. Coming back from this trips or during the spare time it is nice to go for a swim into our sea and admire the waterfall that comes directly from Ravello. From North: leave at Naples the Rome-Naples highway. Follow the sign-boards to Salerno, along the Naples-Salerno highway until the exit Vietri Sul Mare and take the direction to Amalfi. 1 km after Minori (16 km from Vietri) you will see the sign-board of the hotel on the left-handside.From East: from the Bari-Naples highway, leave at Avellino, follow the direction to Salerno. In Fratte (SA) get on Salerno-Reggio Calabria highway and at the exit (the exit of the highway) follow the (brown) sign-boards Costiera Amalfitana when arrived in Vietri Sul Mare, follow the directions as mentioned above.From South: at the end of the Salerno-Reggio Calabria highway, the sign-boards are the same as arriving from the East.The hotel Marmorata, is located along the coast line on the sea, not on the mountains of Ravello, only 3 Km from Amalfi therefore it is preferable to follow the indication.
