I was our second visit to BW Jamaica. It's location, close to JFK airport proved convenient to our needs. We had problems with other noisy, disrespectful guests that didn't get addressed till the next day when the manager gave us a $50 dollar travel card. We will go back to BW Jamaica because it is cost effective for us. We will make sure to take ear plugs along and not to stay close to the vending machines.

Location, Shuttle bus to the Airport JFK. No restaurants (for diner) in neighborhood. Price is to expensive for a extremely small room in basement with just a very small (1 ft high and 2 ft wide) window on rear side of the house with preferred view to bottom side of parked cars. We're really disappointed about compassion price and equivalent.

For a one night stay en route from the UK to Australia this was a very acceptable hotel. The night shift male receptionist was charming and helful, the room was small but clean, the room facilities were very good, the king sized bed was very comfortable, there was free broadband internet and the complimentary breakfast gave plenty of choice. I would have no hesition in staying there again on an overnight stay between destinations.

This is a great hotel, with the friendliest of Desk staff I have ever encountered. The cleaning service could be improved, but this was noted to the front desk and they explained the housekeepers have been yelled at by guests for throwing away left over food. Anyway this is a minor detail. The rooms are a bit tiny for 3 adults, 1 child and 1 toddler. we had requested a roll away, and found a roll away would not even make it through the door. There is about a 90 commute from hotel to Manhattan, using the shuttle to JFK, Airtrain ($5.00 per) to the subway ($2.00 per) to Manhatten. This was easier than them calling a tax(Rockaway taxi) who tried to convince us $70.00 was the best deal he would give us to Times Square. We were charged $20 the first day, only to find out they are to charge $15. It is recommended to take the shuttle and subway route to Manhatten. They are located next to where garbage trucks are stored, however we did not hear them, nor any traffic, however room noise can be heard down the hall. Breakfast ends at 9am, and at 9am they begin to take down breakfast. I have found they do not keep the breakfast items stocked until 9am. coffee is provided through an automated machine(have to wait in line) which also offers hot chocolate and hot water (free during breakfast, and 50 cents afterwards). If you need to unclog the toilet, just check on the 2nd and 4th landings of either end stairwell, this is where they keep their plungers. You must pay for internet in their business center which doubles as their gym.

convenience to airport is hard to beat. neighborhood otherwise a bit foreboding. ok for an overnight if proximity to jfk is important. it served our purpose in that regard.

They provided transportation to your airline upon leaving destination, and the breakfast included was very good, including cooked eggs. It was old, smelled old, the rooms were small, Smokey. There must be many, many far better hotels then this one close to JFK for the same or similar price. With that said, the other hotel we stayed at on this trip was very, very good, so I am still a Priceline customer!

Convenient location and good price if you need a place to stay near JFK airport. I'd go there again.

Hi, I am from Mexicali Mexico and my experience on this hotel was good, I can recommend this hotel, it was clean, good continental breakfast, but if it's your first time in NY you need to find something closer to Manhattan or closer to a Subway station, there's a bus line Q6 right 3 blocks away where it takes you over the Subway E and then Manhattan, you don't need to pay a taxi to get over it, I used the bus during the day to get over the subway station and during the night on the same E station I used the Airtrain and hotel shuttle to come back to the hotel at nights, email me if you want some tips jdoeww3@msn.com

I truly appreciated the warm hospitality I received form the saff at the hotel. I had a late check-in so I was a bit concerned for my safety. It was a cold dark night and I was put at ease.

A great hotel if you need to be next to JFK airport. They also offer a free shuttle service to and from the airport and a continental breakfast. It is very far from Times Square which will cost about U.S $65 one way from the hotel in a cab.

..good value for the money you pay. avoid 100 level rooms (basement), and 300-400 level rooms (slow/tiny elevator), recommend 200 level room for short stay only. Nice breakfast, but sometimes overcrowded.

"This is a no frills hotel. Basic room with all features necessary for a airport hotel. Excellent customer service, clean rooms, efficient shuttle service, free high speed internet access."

Driving up to this place, I knew I was in trouble: a tired, not-nice-to-begin-with-even-when-it-was-new little property in the midst of a hardcore industrial area. While, for what it is, it was clean and the front desk staff was exemplary. NO food at all in the hotel, so if you're arriving after midnight like me and hoping to eat, no chance.

The bed was very big and comfortable, just what we needed after a long flight from Australia.

"I've stayed at the Best Western on a few occassions. The location is very convenient to JFK, but not much else. There's only a couple of places to order from, but there are stores and restaurants near by. It's a nice place to stay for the cost."
