We stayed one night in the Hansa, before our return flight from Frankfurt. The staff is unbelievably helpful and motivated (not something we are used to encountering in the German service industry). While the evening agent wasn't able to resolve our problem (the room reeked of smoke and there were no nonsmoking rooms available), she went so far as to bring us fresh bedding. Before we ventured out to see the city, she offered us directions, a map, and suggestions of what to see and where to eat. Very nice! Our rate included breakfast, but since we were planning a 4:30 a.m. checkout, we knew we wouldn't make use of if. She offered to pack us a breakfast packet that morning, to take along, even though the main dining room wasn't open yet. That morning, just as offered, our breakfast was waiting for us, and the agent on duty then even went so far as to serve us coffee in the lobby while we waited for our cab. I was very very impressed! The only drawback about the hotel is the noise level at all hours (it's on a main road and quite busy) and the fact that our nonsmoking request was not communicated by Orbitz, so we ended up in a heavily smoked-in room. This was in no way fault of the hotel, however, but rather a problem with Orbitz. We will absolutely return to this hotel on our next visit to Wiesbaden. Oh...and they have great bathrooms. Ours was almost the same size as our bedroom, and had french doors leading out onto the patio. Beautiful!

The hotel is very convenient for anyone wishing to visit Wiesbaden being only a 5 minute walk to the centre. Reception staff were helpful given my limited German vocabulary and the breakfast was excellent. We would not hesitate to stay again and found it excellent value for money for a city centre hotel.

Just returned May 27, 2009. Wished we had stayed more than one night at this hotel, too much too see in one day. We drove and the location was easy to find. Hotel staff did everything to make the say perfect. We are elderly travels and found everything within walking distance. The casino had a dress code but there was a smaller one to the left of main one and dress code was casual. On the down side was the hard beds but you din't travel to sleep so after walking all day the beds were just a minor disconfort

together with my wife and our baby, we visited the nearby rhein main hall for the teddy bear festival. this hotel is perfectly placed. all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. our room was spacious with a lovely big en suite bathroom. we also enjoyed the lovely buffet breakfast each morning. i would definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone.

We stopped in Wiesbaden on our way to Turkey. We have two children 4 and 8 who could use a break after a 12 hour flight, the parents needed a break too. We rented 2 rooms, they were very nice. You can leave some luggage at the Frankfurt airport and take the train to Wiesbaden, about 35 minutes and then walk or take the bus 4 blocks to the Hotel. On the way you will pass a lovely park. From the Hotel you are about 4 blocks from the old part of town where we spent time walking around and dining. Completely lovely and very German. We would do it again!

remarkably good value. pleasant efficient staff. i wanted a small hotel near the station and it was ideal. single rooms are small, but no disadvantage to me. thoroughly recommended. this was my second visit.

I would have liked to get a non-smoker room which was not available. The smoke oder in the room was almost unbearable!
