From the time we arrived to the time we checked out there was totally terrbile service. My son who is 11 years old was unhappy on his Spring Break vacation. THe weather was bad and there were no other hotels close by to travel to. To make matters worst, the hotel general manager offered 2 nights refund per room and we repeated the offer back to him to make sure we heard it correctly and he confirmed. Now I just got a call today,04-14-07, saying that the refund would be one night per room. The service, the hotel conditions, and the staff was rude and totally insensitive to our complaints and comments. I even took pictures of the unhealthy,unsafe conditions which I plan to send my credit card company and my attorney if I don't get some better compensation and attention to my experience and for that nightmare week I had there. I have others who stayed willing to sign papers to that affect as well.

Nice clean hotel. Friendly staff! Shuttle service made it an easy commute to and from Downtown DC. "New Carrollton Station". Great Place for a resonable price.

My friend and I stayed here because it was close to DC, and we had a Best Western employee discout voucher. The hotel has a nighclub that played extremely loud music most of the night, and people were constantly coming in and out. The wireless internet was only available in the lobby, which only made the waves of people and lound music worse. The "hot breakfast" consisted of grits and oatmeal, and boiled eggs along with cold cereal, toast and bagels. The only positive aspect of the stay was the shuttle to the nearest metro station, New Carrolton, which runs into DC. We found out later from another friend that formerly lived in Maryland that the area that we were next to, Prince George, has the highest murder rate in Maryland. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Location to fedex field. Location of nearest food place. Great for Redskins fans going to Fedex Field for a game. Short trip to field and surrounding attractions. fit our needs perfectly.

Reserved a space in the Baystreet Lounge. What a fun party night, having the convenience of my hotel room at the same location. The hotel staff were friendly! Thanks for the baystreet Lounge kitchen that was open until 1am, it was a life saver. The deluxe continental breakfast was good, just wish it was a full hot breakfast. But for the hotel price I paid, it was a good deal.

The front desk employee was superb! Cleanliness could have been better - elevator floor was gross. The hotel was good value for the price. The complementary breakfast was really good. The pricing at the gift shop was reasonable. The lobby was beautiful - comfortable chairs and nice decor. The front desk clerk was wonderful - very professional and helpful. Location was ok, relatively good access to the Metro, although the shuttle only ran until 8 pm.

Overall, it is a good hotel with some exceptions. Staff, customer service, maintenance of room. Ok, but it could be better considering that this building has been here for several years under different hotels. I cannot expect much more considering two 2 star. It is quiet and chill to stay in. I just had a couple of problems that were addressed and corrected so all is ok as of right now. Thank you.

The breakfast bar included some hot food such as eggs and grits. The cups at the breakfast bar are too small. Both for hot and cold drinks. They aren't much bigger than a shot glass. The hotel it self was excellent. The location is a little difficult to get to. The hotel has nightclub for those that enjoy that sort of thing. It is also used by large tour groups.

Very friendly staff. This hotel was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful every step of the way. The shuttle was great to get to the metro. I would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers.
