Date of Stay:

We wanted a good value and we got it. We went to Asheville for the Biltmore house. The hotel room was spotless and apparently just got renovated. Big pool, which was nice for our 3.5 year old. Beds were confortable and Breakfast was good with waffles, donuts, eggs and bread.

April, 2009
The hotel has been remodeled but not well done. The walls were poorly painted and the tiles in the bathrooms were also painted and pealing. Carpet seemed fairly new which someone had christened with a hot iron-oops. Wireless and wired networks were available. There was a spider on our pillow which leads me to wonder if the rooms had been sprayed. Other than that the beds were comfortable but the pillows were anything but comfortable. There is some road noise but it didn't bother us too much. The lobby had a descent breakfast but there were too many tables and not enough space-poorly planned. Hotel staff was kind and courteous. Overall I give the hotel a 6 or 7. I've been in better and worse hotels.

The room was clean, but heavily scented with room freshener. The ""woods"" for taking our dog for a potty walk wasn't easy - it's pretty much a poison ivy covered hill. The 'best rate guaranteed' isn't a website special. I took a list of hotels & prices because we didn't know where we were going to stay, walked in and got the same price as listed on the website without any code.

Very good location and price. It could be 3 stars or more, I did my laundry for free. They are very friendly and have the paper and cookies. We really enjoyed our stay there. It's better than others hotels. Crossing the street there is a Target and a best Buy store in a small shopping center.

Lovely comfy bed and furnishings. Seasonal swimming pool. Good value for the money.

Room was clean, front desk was courteous, ample parking and the location was great, central to all Asheville attractions. Asheville itself is kinda boring tho.

Hotel advertised newly remodeled, however a coat of paint on tiles that peals was questionable. The air conditioner was extremely noisey. There was a sickly sweet smell in the room suggesting an odor cover up. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

The value for the price was awesome. Cosmetically, there were a few cracks in the wall.

I stayed for 9 nights, and loved it. The rooms were a great size with refrigerator and microwave, which was helpful for such a long stay. Free internet connectionwas appreciated, and breakfast was great - we ate fresh waffles every morning! I tend to be nervous about staying in hotels because of cleanliness, but this place was very clean, and housekeeping did a phenomenol job. The staff were friendly and accomodating. I will definitely stay again, and recommend to others.

All needs were met. We were able to come and go from the hotel easily and the location was close by to a lot of our stops.

Looked a little dated. Overall good stay. Beds were a little too firm for my tastes but comfortable. Convenient to downtown and area attraction.

The mattress was too hard to get a comfortable night's sleep.

Excellent location for our trip. May stop there someday to visit Biltmore. Will definitely use it again to visit our grandson. Loads of restaurants and a good mall nearby.

The queen sized beds. The wallpaper border! This hotel seemed recently remodeled, conveniently located, spacious, comfortable and clean for the star and price.

"I agree with other members who say that the breakfast area is too small. There are only 5 small tables and on several occasions guests had to wait for someone to finish their breakfast before they could take a seat. The hotel is also on a busy road and certainly not within walking distance to any of the local shops. I had not rented a car initially and I felt confined to the hotel the first few days until i was able to rent a car. So, if you are not driving, don't even consider this hotel... there are many more. The service overall was good."

My husband and I needed an affordable out of town, overnight place to stay and it turned out to be a good find! The beds were not that great, but hopefully we'll get to bring out kids back another time and give it another try!

The hotel room was extremely clean and inviting. The continental breakfast was exceptional. The location close to the Blue Ridge Parkway was an added bonus.

Recently remodeled rooms and breakfast area. Noisy. Not a bad stay for the price. I would stay there again but will bring ear plugs in case of noisy guests like I endured during this stay.

Clean, newly decorated. Beds are very comfortable. Liked having extra sink outside the bath. Road out front is a little noisy early morning. All in all, nice & affordable.

No surprises. Curtains didn't exclude parking lot lights; must cross uncovered parking lot to reach breakfast room--rain!; one grouchy desk person. Clean, efficient, comfortable room; location easily accessible and room was quiet although near busy roadway.
