Convenient location. Sometime noisy. It's good to stay short term for tourists because of the location.

Initially, impressed with the welcome and service at the desk. However, we were checked into a room next door to where building work was about to begin - a lot of heavy banging. Our complaint to the desk was greeted with no sympathy or action, and the Manager was not available. Wanting to rest, we had to leave the hotel for a couple of hours and this all affected our stay.

This is a great hotel in a great location. If I return to Madrid , I will certainly stay there again. The staff was so helpful and informative. The breakfast was also good every day. All of the tourist sites are within walking distance. I wouldn't recommend a tour with Trapsatur. The guide was rude and was vague about the itinerary, thus leaving people everywhere along the way. There are complaint forms available at the Trap. office. Ironically, they're just beside the check-in desk. Pick up one if you're on the tour. Back to the Atlantico. Definately stay here. It's a wonderful place!

Excelllent location at Gran Via Avenue, just walking distance (short distance) from Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Royal Palace, etc... The hotel was clean, sunny, big corner room (looking toward Callao Plaza), 5th floor. Big bathroom with tub and excellent lightning, excellent heating and aircondition. Two hairdryers (one in room, one in bathroom). Very nice buffet breakfast, value for the price and excellent expresso coffee at your request with no extra charge. The real asset of the hotel is the staff: Oscar, Eduardo, Ruth, Fruto. What ever you need or want, the staff will get it for you: one day tours, taxis, maps, reservations for restaurants, recomendations, tickets, etc. Be sure to visit the 9th floor with free internet, bar and beautiful terrace. Looking forward on going back.

The location was very good for our purposes. The hotel's definition of a restaurant and cafeteria on site differed from mine. Obviously the hotel has been recently renovated. We felt that we had a very nice room, well appointed and on a par with anything we would choose to stay in while traveling in the States. The staff was very helpful. We were on the seventh floor so we unaffected by any street noise. The beds were very comfortable. We only ate breakfast at the hotel once, but were well-pleased with the selection and the quality. We loved being able to walk to so many of the things we wanted to see. There are a variety of places to eat, all well within walking distance. We would recommend the property to others and would stay there again.

Excellent location, good room. A friend had no windows in his room, hotel was responsive to request for a change of room and happily upgraded room at no additional cost.

This is a very nice hotel. The staff is vey attentive and friendly. The room was small but very nice and very quiet. The room was up to date and nicely decorated. The entire hotel was exceptionally well maintained. The windows have electricially operated shutters which really help with the noise. The breakfast which is included in the room price is outstanding. It is in a good location. I would highly recommend it for anyone going to Madrid. We were passing through and only spent one night there. If we go back to madrid, we would stay there again.

We only stayed for one night on our way back from a honeymoon in the Canary Islands. The hotel itself is beautiful and Room 708 was amazing, with safe included to store your valuables. We received a complimentary drink in the bar and the staff was extrememly friendly. The speak English well. The top floor has an amazing outdoor patio!

I was delighted with my stay at the Atlantico. Great location, inspiring, extremely good taste in the decoration.....with a extremely comfortable multi-room lounge at the top.... Great breakfast buffet, in a very comfortable dining room....

Since the Atlantico is part of the Best Western group, we didn't know what to expect. There was only a front desk, no lobby, but the staff were friendly and our room was large, bright and comfortable. Much has been recently and tastefully re-done so it's fresh and clean. There is a great lounge/bar on the roof overlooking the city, but no restaurant except a continental breakfast. Even so, we enjoyed the Hotel Atlantico and would stay there again.
