My daughter, grandson, his girlfriend and myself stayed 8/16-8/19/09. The rooms were very clean. The staff was very helpful. The prices were great and we were glad that we had parking. I am almost 70 and the walk to the metro was not that bad. The staff gave directions to any place that we were looking for. There is not that much time spent in the room if you are touring Washington DC, so we thought everything was GREAT!!! The pool, I believe, was open until 10:00 or 10:30 PM. I did not use, but other family members did.

Staff was indifferent, bathroom was dirty, but the location was good.

This was an okay hotel but we had a couple of concerns. The biggest was that the hotel site said it was minutes from the Metro. It was quite a walk to either of the nearest Metro stations. On the first day we were nearly worn out by the time we reached the train. Clearer information would have been appreciated. Our other concern was the pool. It was an indoor pool - something we were looking for in a hotel because of our young sons. The pool was in a separate area - accessed only by going outside - and it was very, very cold in the atrium like room. The pool was also very cold though they were attempting to heat it. Finally, the pool hours were odd closing early most evenings and even if the sign said it was open, the gates and door may be locked. Overall we found our room to be satisfactory though not exceptional and the staff was kind and courteous.

The hotel staff was eager to help make our stay comfortable.

Second morning, we were awakened by 3 construction workers pounding on metal forms right behind the motel/our window. It was 7:10 a.m. so we guess any "noice ordinance" wasin applicable. It wasn't the hotel's fault, but be forewarned until the adjacent building is finished. The staff was very helpful in finding my lost cell phone (in our room) and returning it to me when I called from our next stop, 2 hours away.

The hotel rooms were a bit small. My closet, evidently an exception only had half a bar to hang cloths on and the bathroom counter was half the size of everyone elses. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend them. The hotel seemed old and small rooms, not much space between the bed and desk or chest of draws. It was however very convenient to Arlington Cemetary and the Monuments which was why we were there. All in all it is a nice place and I would recommend it.

No hot water in shower. Very, difficult ot find the hotel. No hot water in shower. People are not friendly.

The hotel was/is under construction so it looked a little shady, but my room in the tower was like new. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was afraid of parking in the garage, but parked near the main entrance; so it wasn't too bad. It's a little bit of a hike to the Metro, but doable and I felt safe in the dark. I will stay here again. FYI, mature female.

The staff was great and it was very easy to get to public transport. The place was great, the staff was great and it was very affordable. You could easily walk to all public transportation. If you are going to D C to see the sights this is a great place to start.

First of all, our room was in the outside area instead of the tower. The room was clean, but out-of-date. It looked nothing like the pictures. Acceptable, though. Then, the toilet barely flushed. The restaurant had awful service and the food wasn't very good. The next morning, construction on the other "wing" of the hotel started at about 6:45 am and the planes overhead were extremely loud. The fitness room had 3 machines in it and it was closed for renovation. The next morning, the shower had no hot water because the people above us were showering. I know this because I could hear their shower. The "cocktail lounge" was a small bar in the entry of the restaurant. I never saw a gift shop or tennis courts. There was high speed internet in the rooms, which was nice, and the cleaning staff did a good job. The front desk people were nice when we called an asked for extra pillows and the remote control, but the lady that brought the pillows just opened the door and walked in, which was odd. The place wasn't awful, but the pictures and description are deceptive.

This hotel was modestly priced compared to others in the same area, however service and amenities were inadequate. It has been my experience that cheaper hotels offer at least a refrigerator and microwave. This hotel did not offer that and the excuse was that I should have asked for it upon booking. They said they could not even offer me that though I was willing to pay more money for it. If you are traveling in the summer this sort of thing can cause you extreme inconvenience. Additionally, their rooms had a very bad odor coming from the ventilation. And the staff was not versed in customer service. Most of them could barely speak English. Also, breakfast is not included, but for * dollars you could pay for your own at a restaurant next door. Though this hotel offered a comfortable place to sleep and fairly convenient location next to the roselyn metro, it was not up to standard and i would not recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and standard hotel amenities or accommodations such as exercise room and refrigerators and microwaves and the sort.

Completely renovated, extremely clean and a real friendly staff. Couldn't find HBO/Cinemax Channels on TV. I found this hotel on Priceline and was skeptical at best. To my surprise, it was close to the metro, was completely renovated and had all the amenities, flat screen TV with enough channels to surf around. While it may not have the flashy big hotel feeling, with free internet, free fruits, and an helpful staff, I have made this my preferred staying place for the future business visits.

Listed as being on Arlington Blvd but in acutality is on Fairfax Drive. 2 blks fr Rosslyn Metro, good. Hotel is not the most modern but we had large nice, clean end room with 1 King. Desk Clerk semi-knowledgeable of the area. No restaurant attached but one beside is a pizza/pasta restaurant which serves breakfast - we split a meal and had plenty of food. Ice machines on opposite end of motel from our room. Outside entryways to all rooms. Limited parking. Close to Georgetown, Rosslyn, Iwo Jima Memorial and Arlington Cemetery. Computer with Internet access located in lobby. Quiet location.

Helpful and courteous staff. The only down side of this hotel is that it is immediately next door to a burned-out building in a neighborhood which initially looks rough. However, the rooms were clean and well maintained. The service and willingness of the staff to help was above and beyond. Although it is hard to believe at first, one may walk to any of the surrounding amenities, especially the Metro station.

not impressed with the rooms at all. felt like a motel 8...everytime you took a shower you were scalded...the outside of the rooms smelled like urine..not what i expected for the rate i was charged.

Loved that it had bath tub & shower. Nothing. The room was very clean. The hotel staff went out of their way to help us find different attractions and transport to these.

We loved staying in this hotel. We were surprised at the quality for the price. The only problem that I had was trying to find the hotel.
