Nonworking light fixtures, dusty/dirty rooms, and the red mold encasing the showerhead made for a less than mediocre stay at a hotel chain which is normally a satisfying visit for us... Perhaps the tainted water from our moldy showers has literally put a bad taste in our mouths when considering Best Western as our primary "go-to" oasis when we're on out of town excursions.... We won't be back...

Our lock to the room door malfunctioned. We were locked out of our room for over an hour at 3am. The hotel was unable to locate the hard key to get us. This happened twice after being instructed they had they key and would fix the problem. How does a hotel not know the location of their hard keys? Let alone leave customers outside for an absurd amount of time in the middle of the night.

They seemed to want to accommodate me even if they could not. My children liked the pool, pond, & ducks. See through curtains. I wanted to be able to pull drapes so no one can see in. This hotel was very conveniently located for my needs, traveling between St. Petersburg & Clearwater. At first I thought I would regret my stay being right next to the airport runway, but we got used to the noise, and there weren't a lot of them. I felt sorry for the lady who worked in the breakfast room. On Sunday morning there was very little food, no juice, no milk, and she was very apologetic and embarrassed.

The hotel was clean and the staff very courteous. The breakfast was excellent with many choices. It is also pet friendly (we travel with our dog), which was a big plus for us. We were very pleased and will recommend this hotel to others.

The price was just right although it was next to an airport. Periodically we would hear the planes taking off as our room faced the airport. The pool and hot tub were out of service which we did want to use. On a positive note, the beds were very comfortable which seems to be a rare commodity in all the places I have traveled to. Also, the Continental Breakfast was excellent!! Scrambled eggs, biscuits with sausage gravy! Mmmmm!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my 5-night stay during early August 2008. The continental breakfast was a lot more than I expected. I felt very comfortable. The mini-fridge helped, too! I am looking forward to another stay with them at Christmastime. BB from Chicago.

The room was very nice. We enjoyed our stay and thought the value was exceptional, the only down notes: we were across from the pool, which is noisy, and the airport runway is RIGHT next door..but we would go back again! Friendly staff!!

This hotel was pretty good. Very goodcontinental breakfast. The hot tub did not work. Strip club right accross the street. Good hotel. Its about 11 miles away from the beaches and 16 miles from Tampa.
