Nothing. Poorly run in every department. Hard to get to dirty flop house. If the city inspected this place they would close it. Cigarette butts, moldy pool cushions, common areas are new but neglected this place obviously needs some new management.

Location of the hotel was good, it was close to the airport but not so close that loud planes would keep you awake - it was very quiet and comfortable. The hot breakfast was great and my son enjoyed the pool and hot-tub. The only downside was that it didn't have a restaraunt onsite, but there were many nearby and several fast food places within walking distance.

The hotel was nice, breakfast was great, happy hour w/drinks/snacks. Outdoor pool was okay. Fitness center is small but has enough equip. Staff is very accomadating

The room was large and comfortable, but hanging space for clothing was inadequate for two persons intending to stay longer than overnight. The room was well-kept and clean; however, there was a silverfish lurking in a folded towel (it is Texas after all). The single drive-in entrance off a one-way street is somewhat obscured by shrubbery which leads to a roundabout return detour or a hazardous wrong-way dash against traffic should you overshoot on your first attempt to turn in. All the better eating establishents in the vicinity are on the opposite side of Highway 281. However, the hotel's complementary breakfast is quite adequate and GOOD! The hotel is quiet and comfortable - a great place for a good night's sleep!!

The matress was very good, a pillow top somethng you don't often find. Server in the breakfast buffet was hovering telling you what to do, how to put the utensils back on dishes very annoying. All was very good, the bed was wonderful, the suite was nicely appointed. There were cookies every night. hotel difficult to get to. The server in the breakfast room was hovering over the guests telling them how to put utensils back on the pans. Since I am nearly 70 yrs. old, I think I know how to do those things. Just in your face. If I were to go there again, I would tell her to stay in her kitchen and leave me alone.

The rooms here are large & the beds are comfortable. The breakfast buffet has some difficulty keeping up with the demand. Many items are not on the buffet & you have to wait for them to come out of the kitchen. We were there for 3 mornings & there was never any waffles or pancakes. The managers greeting is a joke. Wine & fishsticks!! The hotel was very noisy on the weekend. The pool rules say that it closes at 10:00pm, but a group of noisy adults were outside until after 11:00. When I asked the front desk, they told me the pool was open until midnight on weekends. If you have a room next to the pool, this is a problem. My biggest problem was with the pool itself. I booked this hotel because it had a nice looking outdoor pool & being from the North, I wanted to swim outdoors. The pool was so cold that I couldn't even put my feet in it. It is a good location for quick access to Six Flags & the airport.

Our stay, although cut short with family medical needs back home, was great. The staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. The location is a little difficult to get to the first time, but once you master it, it's all down hill from there. There's a Wal-Mart and several fast-food eating places located next to the property (walking distance -- since to drive there would mean navigating that wonderful loop again). Rooms were clean, in appearance and smell, and large. Great hot breakfast in the morning! Will definitely stay there again.

Clean well-decorated rooms. The location was not good. Overall a nice hotel but it is a little difficult to get to and not convenient to Sonterra Blvd. The staff was just ok. Not extremely rude, but not friendly.

The room was fantastic!!!!! Spacious. 2 tv's. A/C was able to get the room super cold. (in 100 degree weather) not the easiest place to get to -- until you figure out the loop around. breakfast was delicious. would definitely stay again (this was our second stay)

Great location,many restaurants & shopping close by. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Hot Breakfast was great! 18 miles to Sea World, easy access to main roads. Great stay!

Had plenty of space in the room. Difficult to access from the highway. One way was ok. Was very nice, however, it had only one access to get to the property. That was a big downside.

I was disappointed in my stay at the Best Western Hill Country Suites. I am not usually a nay-sayer about my travels, but I was let down by this hotel and by the Internet Travel Agency we used... A list of my "cons" about hotel: *No safe in room *No fresh waffle breakfast (as advertised) *Manager's weeknight spread a bad joke (fishsticks...come on!) *Pull-out couch did not function well *Not enough towels placed in room (we booked for 5 people) *Internet in Business Center EXTREMELY Slow *Waited at front desk alone for almost 10 minutes before getting any service. I resorted to called them on my cell phone while standing a waiting...got not answer I thought I was getting a good deal at a good price. It seems like you really do have to shell out over $ a night to gurantee nice lodging in a big town.

Pool, spa, and fitness center were small but great. Very clumsy location and not easily gotten to. Clean facilities, comfortable rooms, decent complimentary breakfast and friendly staff. Good for families, both young and old. Not a lot to do right near the hotel, but at a good location to get to places. The hotel sits at a location that requires a bit of practice getting to, but once you make the drive a few times, it's not that tough. A short walk to Sonic and what a burger for light fare, and Wal-Mart is within walking distance as well. Overall, a good value for the price.

I liked the size of the room. Did not like that the covers and bed spreads had holes and looked old. The out side of the hotel and the area where it is located is nice. I did not like the inside of the hotel because it looks like the cleaning and management has not keep up with the appearence. The carpets and covers are not in good condition.

Nothing. They are not nice to work with. We were unable to stay at this hotel because of their un-willingness to accommodate our needs. I would not recommend this hotel.

Surpassed my expectations for what I thought it would be. Regular rates too high. I thought Best Western's were of lower quality. As someone who stays in hotels half his life, I was sure this would be something I'd be forced to tolerate after I found out I was staying here. It was much better quality than I expected.

Decor was attractive inside. Hotel smelled of smoke, room keys never worked right. Hotel smelled of smoke everywhere, the breakfast was skimpy and cold and when the staff was asked to do something about it, they were rude and unresponsive. The parking was very skimpy and difficult to park due to layout of parking lot.
