This is an excellent hotel..the staff goes out of its way to please you..I was here during the Olympic games and don't know if this is normal treatment but I felt well taken care of..the rooms were not overly big but were very clean and had all the necessary ammenities..wireless Internet access was available for a nominal charge which provided my son and I to be able to use our lap tops simultaneously while in the room...It is in very easy access of all the major attractions such as the Forbidden City and Tianamen Square, and very close by to the subway...

Friendly staff. Location, no King Beds, Old. NA.

Staff quite courteous and always with a smile. Even hotel maintenance who helped carry our excessive baggage. Great proximity to Wrigley, quiet and comforable sleeping. Garage attendant could not locate our car and so we had to find it. But all in all worth the money.

We picked this hotel because of it's combination of reasonable price and proximity to Wrigley Field (about 5-6 blocks). We flew into O'Hare and took the CTA subway to within walking distance to the hotel. Check-in was smooth and the staff friendly. Room was clean, comfortable, and the AC worked great - key for an August trip to Chicago. There was complementary bottled water - a nice touch and a decent free continental breakfast. The shaded area in front of the hotel is very well landscaped and has tables to sit and take your breakfast. There is a small gym with a Nautilus-style weight machine. Also there is a bike, stair-stepper, and treadmill along with a sauna and whirlpool. Hotel is also fairly close to Lake Michigan and I went jogging on the trail along the lake after just a short walk to get there. In summary, the hotel was clean and fairly priced. The staff was courteous. I'll go there again on my next trip to Chicago.

Great location and perfect to walk and shop and eat, no car needed. Nothing to dislike. Absolutely loved it at this hotel. We will definitely be going there again. Nice quaint room that was spotless upon arrival, great front desk clerks also. LOVED IT!

Having lived in the area and booking all my family visitors there, I knew the Terrace was an excellent place to stay. This trip did not disappoint although the night auditor was a bit slow on how parking worked and the wake-up call was an hour early.

Best Western Hawthorne was clean, quiet. The room was a little small but the room amenities were good. There was a refridgerator and bottles of water. The location was great - within walking distance of Wrigle Field.

The location was amazing for we were going. Our room was not ready 3 1/2 hours after check in and my daughter got sick from the breakfast! We were in town for a game at Wrigley. The hotel was really over priced but that is typical for Chicago. We arrived at the hotel at 3:30 pm and our confirmation said check in was at noon and our hotel room was not ready. This was extremely inconvenient because we had a small child and plans for that evening. The room was ok. We've stayed in much nicer for less. Now the thing that really upset me is that my daughter ate breakfast the morning we checked out and drank a glass of milk. We were not even out of Chicago yet and she got sick in the car from the milk. I have no use for this hotel. Oh yeah the parking is next door and you have to park your car and get your luggage out so if you have multiple bags your making multiple trips. Don't drink the milk!

I found a good rate at this hotel, and the location was very close to Wrigleyville. The front desk was very helpful in taking my luggage to my room for me when I was in a rush.

The Best Western Hawthorne Terrace hotel is a very good hotel, very clean and very nice. It is in a great location for Wrigley Field and near the lake.

Great staff. Carpet stains and no view. Looks much better on the outside promotional material than the inside. Within walking distance of Wrigley Field.

This hotel was within walking distance to Wrigley Field and surrounding attractions. This hotel was very comfortable and roomy with a sitting area between the sleeping area and bath. The outside garden courtyard was lovely, and the staff was very helpful.

A great little hotel in the heart of northern Chicago. Close to Wrigley easy access to DT. the front padio is great for evening lounging.

Cozy from the outside. Old wallpaper, bad, loud AC. Had to change rooms due to the AC. I purchased a deluxe room, but there was nothing deluxe about it. Very standard room. Not at all close to where I needed to be. Not a great local for business travelers.

The location, the room and the cleanliness were outstanding. The location of the continental breakfast and eating area was exceptionally poor. The hotel was centrally located for Wrigley Field. The staff was wonderfully receptive and very helpful and pleasant. The parking garage was easily accessible and reasonably priced.

Proximity to Wrigley field, shops and transportation in a great neighborhood. More room to eat indoors. Comfortable, well managed and maintained with a competent staff and great location for anyone new to Chicago like my friend and I who were first time visitors. I'd come back!

Clean, close to Wrigley field and bus lines. Nothing. It served our purpose to go to a cub's game and was convenient to public transportation. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was helpful and friendly.

The location of the hotel is ideal for anyone looking to be within walking distance of restaurants and clubs. The view from the room faced a brick wall. This can be expected in the city. The hotel is surprisingly quaint and comfortable. It almost brings about a country feeling in the city. The room was nicely laid out with a lounge/study area as well as a sleeping area. The bathroom had an old world charm with its cute sink and fixtures. It was nice being so close to where all the action is in Chicago. It would be impossible to not have a good time in that neighborhood.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and decent breakfast. Free parking was very limited, but for $20 a day parking garage is next door. Our stay at the best western was very pleasant. It was within walking distance to Wrigley field, and the staff was nice and very helpful.

Awesome location. So close to Wrigley Field. About a 10 minute walk. It's not deluxe accommodations but it's clean and comfortable. You don't go to Wrigley Field to sit in your hotel room. If you want convenience, this is totally the way to go. It was clean, comfortable and the staff was friendly enough (we didn't need a whole lot from them). Awesome location for just about everything. The neighborhood is one of the 3 most affluent in the city and pretty safe. I'd stay there again if I needed to go to Wrigley.
