Hotel position very close to the town was very convenient for the shops and places for eating out this also meant the car was'nt required throughout our stay.

It's a very comfortable hotel just a stone's throw away from the centre of Stratford, near all the local amenities, the River Avon, and all of the Shakespeare-related tourist fun. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was very nice indeed. It's worth paying the extra ?15 for the room upgrade, although the room we had was in an awkward place that required two different sets of stairs to get to. The layout of the hotel isn't the most clear or logical, but it's definitely a nice place to stay and I would stay there again.

untidy roomThe room unclean and the toilet would not flush. The rooms looked nothing like the pictures on the website and the staff at the front desk were very unhelpful

We regularly visit Stratford to go to the theatre. We have stayed at lots of different accomodation there & we rate this hotel as excellent value for money. We last visited here 10 months ago & we recognised many of the same staff - always a good sign.

Recommended HotelWould certainly use again as we both found the hotel's staff to be friendly, helpful and professional. The room was on the small side but was clean, well appointed and comfortable. The reception staff were helpful, especially as we arrived to find I had lost my credit card and they did all they could to assist, thankyou.

bad hotelI stayed at the hotel on 4th july room 206, what a disapointment when I entered the room. On entering the bathroom for a shower the light was left on leaving the towel rail hot causing me to burn my arm, when I went to reception to complain about the burn they said it shouldn't be hot unless the light was left on, there was no warning sign above rail to warn of this. when I opened the door to the balcony the decking was broken and table and chairs were dirty.considering we had stayed at a sister hotel and were celebrating a special anniversary we were expecting more for the hotel.

Friendly and ConvenientNothing wrong with this hotel for me as a business traveller. Didn't try the bar or restaurant, there's plenty in walking distance. No air-con in the room I had, which would have been nice on the (hot) day I stayed - but that's not a complaint, just an observation.

Excellent hotel, room was nice although the window didn't let enough air in, especially given how hot the weather was! Hotel restaurant was superb, very impressed. Hotel appears to be a bit short on parking space, however we arrived early enough that there were still spaces available.

Avoid room No. 1601) Given room No.160 with a hint that an event that evening ‘might’ be heard from this room. If it disturbed us we should ring reception and they would ask them to quieten it down. Well there was no chance of any sleep as it was ‘LOUD’. Complaints were to no avail of course. It was gone 11.30 PM before rest was possible. 2) The room was small and claustrophobic; the only sizable window was wired glass as it faced an enclosed external passage. 3) The room was hot with only a small opening window for ventilation. A fan was provided for circulating the hot air if you wished and just added to the noise.4) One of the bed sheets had several holes in it. This was changed promptlyWe asked for more suitable room the next day which was promply provided. The board at the front of the hotel advertised airconditioning but this would seem to be for the executive rooms only.Car parking is avaiable but unlikely to be sufficient should the hotel be well booked. It is a nice hotel with good food but our stay was spoilt by room 160.

The hotel is in a good location, just a few minutes walk from the river and shops. Public areas within the hotel are more worthy of a 4 star hotel than the 3 stars that this has. I stayed in a standard room which was pleasant if basic, although the bathroom was very small. If you don't like your room too warm, consider upgrading to one with air con.

Excellent value in the centre of Stratford with ample parking.Room was comfortable if a little dated, however given the price was excellent value. The only drawback was the prices in the hotel restaurant which meant we ventured into Stratford centre for a more reasonable bite to eat.

Boisterous wedding celebrations are a caution!I booked without knowing that almost the entire hotel was occupied in connection with a wedding and it was very noisy until 12.30pm which i was not best pleased about except it was good value and the room and standard was excellent with a large bath and shower. Plus the car park was a big attraction for me and literally a stones throw into the town centre. The timing of the wedding was most unfortunate and would recommmend anyone proposing to stay that they ask in advance whether there might be one in full flow when they intend to stay!!
