Ideal Location This hotel is situated in the heart of Saint Germain des Pres; lovely to walk around and lots of reasonably priced restaurants and cafes, as well as some pricier ones which are great for a treat (Le Christine is my favourite for a splurge!). I was there on business during the day - easy to hop on metro and find your way around and plenty of cafes for meetings. As a single woman I felt safe coming and going here. As a couple, when my boyfriend joined me for a day off, we loved wandering round the little streets and the hotel room was very sweet and typically parisien! No complaints about the room except for the maid walking in unannounced to refill the mini bar when we arrived :)

[...] at the front desk was very helpful. My room was ready at 9am, which is almost unheard of. The rooms are (as is typical), very small, but pretty, neat and clean. The immediate area around the hotel is very lively, with many excellent cafes, restaurants and bars nearby. The location was perfect, and not too noisy.

Very well located. Very small rooms. Staff not that helpful. The hotel was very well located and had a lot of French charm. The restaurant is downstairs in an old wine cellar. I would definitely recommend staying there. However, the rooms are very small (not much bigger than the bed), and the staff isn't overly helpful. The hotel does have an elevator but it is tiny (tight for 2 people with no luggage). But the price is quite good for Paris and it is extremely well located. So if you are a tourist in Paris I would definitely recommend it. We were able to walk to the muse dorsa, the Notre dame cathedral, Luxembourg gardens, the clunky museum, etc. And the metro is just one block away.

The strength of this hotel is the location. You can walk to three metro stops and the Louvre within 3 to 10 minutes. The hotel's on a quiet street and near great cafes. Our bedroom was adequate: spotless, but a bit worn. The bathroom fixtures are new, but the paint on our bathroom door was peeling. The front desk is the downside. Very unfriendly, almost surly in attitude. Also, the clerks refused to cash my Euro-based travelers' checks. One clerk told me there were no banks in the neighborhood and I'd have to go to local money exchange bureau, which I did, at the cost of a 10% commission. I turned around and directly across the St. Germain des Pres was a bank. Very frustrating. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel because the dining room is in the former wine cellar (a.k.a., the basement.) and it seemed expensive. Better to go around the corner to the patisseries and brasseries for wonderful pastries and omelettes and watch Parisians walk by.

Best location in Paris and excellent serviceWe had a wonderful stay in Paris at your hotel, the second in a half a year. The location is simply the best possible, and the service is personal, excellent and generous. The esthethics is also very much to our liking in all areas. The only point that annoyed my wife a little, was that in the 5th floor where we stayed this time, the corridor was full of big black plastic bags for linen and towels most of the time. That seemed a little too much. But apart from that, absolutely everything was good.

Hotel is tiny but cozy. Can't think of better location - walking distance to many tourist attractions. 5 min from metro and RER. Hotel provides convenient shuttle service to airport. Friendly stuff, ready to help always.

We stayed here for one night on our return to Paris (from La Baule) having spent an earlier week in a different hotel. Our room was quite pleasant, a reasonable size, had a large marble tiled bathroom, clean and comfortable. The hotel was ideally situated in the heart of the popular St Germain area of Paris, a couple of minutes walk from Odeon metro (which is on the line which serves Gard Du Nord and Monparnasse railway stations). Lots of restaurants on the street of the Hotel as well as in the surrounding area. A continental breakfast was served under the tastefully up-lit stone arches of the hotel's cellar.

This used to be a reasonably-priced Left Bank hotel until it got hooked up with Best Western. It is pretty much as it always was, except that the price of a room has risen sky-high. It's fine, just massively over-priced. It would be helpful if the person who calls your taxi explains that this hotel is a very small, one-way street so you don't get chewed off by the taxi driver, as I did. Tinny pop music in the lobby is something I can do without. Yes, I would stay here again but only if my usual restaurant, just across the Blvd. Saint-Germain but just over half the price for exactly the same accomodation, can't take me.

Great Location in the Latin Quarter, Friendly staff and a nice room. Just a little on the pricey side with the current exchange rate!
