The internet service was complicated and the I expected a full breakfast. The breakfast was cold and it should have been noted as complimentary.

Nice breakfast room with good food for included breakfast. Late night front desk person accommodating but a little grumpy. Driveway was a little hard to find. Nice and clean rooms with mini fridge and microwave. It was convenient to restaurants and Richmond. Hallways were a bit stuffy sometimes. Some areas smelled very smoky. Staff, overall, was very friendly. Check-in and out was very smooth. Great breakfast room for included breakfast with fruits, cereal, waffle maker, biscuits & gravy, juices, muffins, and hard-boiled eggs.

front staff/floor staff very courteuos and effecient - as well as soon as we walked into the building we were very pleased to smell how wondefully clean it was especially after a 9 hour drive- when i opend the door to our room not only was it clean as well but very cute - brick in the entry way - a king size bed which was the most comfortable bed that we have ever slept on while travelling - plenty of pillows-a fridge microwave/ iron and board as well as a safe for jewerly - very pleased with our stay and when we return next year for our visit we will plan on staying here again - if you however are big on excersie their work out room did not have many peices and the treadmill was a bit worn - but all and all a wonderful stay..I would recommnend this motel to all -

In richmond for a bridge tournament & needed quiet and restful nites--which I got along with a very good breakfast facility. I really enjoyed my stay. thanx for this opportunity at a reasonable price.

Mattress lopsided-stained tiling, noisy AC, scratchy towels and poor front desk. No eating facilities, no room service, no lounge, noisy AC, lopsided mattress, coffee but no machine in room, scratchy towels, stained tiling, cranky front desk. The building reminds one of a warehouse that was converted into a hotel-brick facade is pretty everything else is cold.

We booked this hotel on the internet for our Thanksgiving trip beause it was close to relatives. Whwn we arrived we weren't sure we were in the right place because the parking lot was empty except for a utilities truck. We had called the hotel directly to request connecting or adjacent rooms for ourselves and our 2 teenage sons, but found the boys had been put down the hall. They were moved across the hall. but not next to us because we were told the hotel was full (with an empty parking lot?). Although our room was large, the beds were nearly rock hard. Next morning we asked the housekeeper for extra pillows but she replied, "no English," so we asked at the desk. The continental breakfast consisted of microwaved, frozen food and bad coffee. When we returned in the evening, neither of our rooms had been cleaned or beds made. Checking at the desk, the log indicated our boys room was cleaned and we had refused service. Though we had planned to stay 2 nights we decided a long drive home was better than another night at this hotel.

It was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The hair dryers were the worse I have ever seen! The hotel is beautiful inside and out, but the hallways could use updating. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and very comfortable. One complaint - the hair dryers looked like something from the 50's and they did not dry your hair, but the handle got very hot.

The Best Western was a nice hotel located around a lot of shopping and major high ways. The front desk and cleaning staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. The breakfast was a great perk and the hotel price was very affortable.

It was very clean both inside and out. Had the same food at Breakfast both Sun/Mon. I took a business card when I left, as I'll stay here again the next time I visit Richmond. It had very clean rooms.

Room was clean & comfortable & roomy. Breakfast was very good(variety of cereal, hard boiled eggs,mini-muffins,etc) Pool unaccessible due to strike lightning, bar/lounge closed in Jan '07. Room had a micro/frig. Was a little further away from University of Richmond than anticipated. Good deal for the .

Very nice appearing hotel. Lobby was excellent. Rooms and halls were a little dated and needed updating.

Nice, clean room. Currently under renovations, card key systems for buildings don¿t work. This hotel is located about 18 miles from the airport. Not what I would consider in the vicinity of the airport. The Midlothian turnpike area is however a great place if you like to shop. Many malls and restaurants are located on the same road as the hotel.

When we read the reviews of this hotel we were apprehensive because of the complaints about the night club and crowd. We decided to stay there anyway because we only needed to a safe place to sleep and it was close to where we wanted to be. The room was clean and we felt safe. I had a good night sleep and left refreshed.

I liked the location - close to my friend's house and restaurants. Could have been more romantic. Did not like window view. I had a very pleasurable experience into his hotel. I would recommend. I am a stickler on bathrooms, and my bathroom was spotless and my blankets smelled fresh.

I was not very happy with my stay and the Governor's Best Western in Richmond. I stayed there to visit a family member giving birth at a nearby hospital The room had pieces of trash on the floor near the bed. But my major disappointment was being placed in a room that had interior brick and stone walls. Half of the room had regular walls and the other half had brick and stone walls. So if you go to this hotel and do not want that room do not stay in room 133, I think it was. It had the look of one of those add on rooms to the outside of a hoouse. I was especially disappointed that I was placed in that room on a night the hotel barely had any guests. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was not a bad stay, but I did'nt leave with the feeling that I would come back there.

"This hotel is rated a 3 star. It's more like a 2 star. Don't get me wrong it's a ok 2 star. The AM staff was great, the PM staff needs some work. The beds are very hard, my remote had tape around it to keep the batteries from falling out. It's a good place to stay if your just passing thru Richmond, for a night."
