We visited with family located about five minutes away from the motel. It was clean, convenient, well priced, and met al of our needs. The food was excellent, the setting superb.

Leaving it. Moldy room, transfered to noisy room. There might be good rooms, and decent rooms.

My wife and I where very happy to find a gold mine in Grass Valley. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. A total 10

Fairly quiet...freeway close by but traffic at night minimal. Staff very helpful. Good complimentary breakfast selections.

May, 2009
Clean and bed was comfortable. We liked the abundance of pillow as well as the comfortable bed. The sliding glass door was quite nice too.

Nice Place, would stay there again. Room was clean and tidy. Over all no complaints. Perhaps the Continental Breakfast could use some help.
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
It's in a beautiful setting. Lots of trees. I felt like I was in a forest. There's shopping across the street, also some wonderful restaurents.
Date of Stay:

I like the fact that it had more for the complementory breakfast than just donuts. Loud heating unit but livable. Very nice location, clean and classy.
Date of Stay:
December, 2006
This place was just ok - no horror stories, just a plain old outdated room, no big problems but nothing special - doors open to the outside like a motel - prob not a 3 star hotel - more like a 2 star"

The building is rather old and there is an attempt to upgrade so there is a lot of construction going on. Fortunately, we were there over a weekend and all was quiet. Granted there are not many places to stay around that area but the value for the price did not compare with other places we have stayed at.

Very clean, new, well-equiped room. Not tasty breakfast, weak Wi-Fi in room.

I loved the huge king size bed. It was plush and you just sank in. So comfortable. The only problem we had was that the heater made a funny noise every now and again.

Really nice staff. Room was very clean. Construction on street in front of hotel. For an inexpensive hotel that allows dogs, Best Western was great. Not a destination in itself (like one of those fancy hotels), but a very decent place to stay.

Happy hour with food, drink, okay for kids too. Heater is very loud, goes off frequently. Nicely decorated room, comfortable bathroom facility, can park right in front of your room, and good price.

It was roomy and clean. The hot tub was broken. This hotel has some nice qualities and the staff is trying to make it a nicer property. It is a older hotel. It was clean.

Very nice for a moderate hotel. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Everything was clean and classy, the staff nice, breakfast was good. We had a great stay.

Large, thick beige towels, cookies, heater in room, 3 pillows on bed, shower. Very nice hotel!!!! Great staff, clean facilities, breakfast food choices were available, parking by the room was possible, soft linen, lotion, shampoo and conditioner smelled great!
Date of Stay:
December, 2008
Convenient. Good location and good complimentary breakfast. Although the room was clean, there was a strong floral/perfume odor.
Date of Stay:
November, 2008
Cleaner and a bit better appointed than anticipated. Parking is not great. Very friendly staff who gave good directions and fair recommendations. Lots of nice trees have a bit of a secluded feel. Pool looked appealing if the weather was warmer. Room is quite clean and very little noise.
Date of Stay:
October, 2008
Did not have HBO. Hotel was good, had a nice look and in great location. Only minutes from Nevada City and could get anywhere in Grass Valley.
