Great spot in the strip with restaurants. Friendly front desk staff and offered late checkout on race day. For the Boilermaker race, a great location close enough to "sleep in" drive to finish and catch buses to start line. Late check out allowed a shower before hitting the road!

Great place to stay in the winter months. The folks here are warm and friendly. They know how to put on a wonderful HOT Breakfast to get you started for the day! Free internet service & lots of cable channels. I will be back!!

went cooperstown basball hall of fame. cruise erie canal with the davinci locks very facinating. the desk did not know much about religious services or times no print out of activities in the area at the front desk

Distance from room to check in, check out and breakfast. Great location, very close to NYS. Good continental breakfast options. Large parking area. Clean room with king size bed and refrigerator. Had all my needs and likes.

The Best Western Adirondack Gateway is convenient to the New York State Thruway, downtown Utica and restaurants in the area. However, the Adirondack Gateway is not necessarily near the Adirondacks so do not stay here with the hopes of having towering peaks nearby. The Adirondacks are another hour or so north of this location. The rooms were comfortable, however they were dated with dark tiles, poor lighting, etc. Overall, the hotel was very clean, safe, and a good value.

Very clean. Beds were very hard. Overall, this was an excellent hotel for the price. The breakfast was great and had really good waffles. They had a lot of snacks in the lobby. The bed was very hard, and our door caught on the rug. We had to pull it shut, so be carefull.

The room was so cold when we came in it took hours to get it warm enough to be comfortable. The beds were so hard, I think it would have been just as comfortable sleeping on the floor. In fact I considered it the tenth time I woke up because of body aches. The room was cold coming in and took forever to warm up. The remote didn't work but the front desk was kind enough to change the batteries so it worked. The staff was nice.

Spacious and comfortable room, convenient location and breakfast available. Our room was very comfortable except for the smaller bathroom. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, although the decor is tacky. The breakfast area is attractive and the buffet typical, but good. Our room had a refrigerator and wireless internet.

Very clean, and great staff. The location was poor as was the surrounding area. This hotel suited our needs. It provided a bed to sleep in for the night. There is not a lot of space in the rooms, so if you are traveling with more than two people, I would stay at a different hotel.

It had everything essential. No pool. Very nice moderate hotel. It's not the fanciest place out there, but very affordable and very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Nothing. Set up of the room. We arrived at the hotel, the outside struck me to being a decent hotel. Inside it was dark and smelled. When we got to our room, the roomed smelled very bad and the whole room was very small. I immediately went to the front desk and checked out.

Rooms were appointed nicely and clean. Rooms must have had a wallpaper boarder that was torn down. Looked shabby. Hotel was adequate for my family of 6 for one night. Adjoining rooms on the ground level were spacious and clean. Continental breakfast was o.k.

Property manager was very helpful. We had a Cheerleading competition in Utica, hotel manager was a pleasure to work with - front desk help was very friendly - location was perfect - price was great.

It was inexpensive and close to my business meeting. There wasn't much to do in the area. No hotel restaurant, no pool.
