Had a meal here early on a Sunday evening and to be honest the food was awful even burnt and cold. the service was slow and the waiters were very rude. would not eat here again ever! When I complained they just said that it was very unusual and left me standing there. Very rude!!Don't go there

An interesting cheap and cheerful hotelOk, the car park is small and difficult to get into - the hotel is in the middle of Killarney after all. Rooms at the front are noisy at weekends, and no view from the back. The beds have seen better days - But - the staff are helpful, it IS in the very centre of Killarney, and theres always live music in the bar - some good and some just so so!The hot water in the morning rush can be a lottery, and I've never tried the bar food. The breakfast was ok if unimaginative. There is free broadband in the lobby and a real fire in the bar.Overall, it's an unpretentious hotel and very reasonable value for money - don't expect miracles ok?

Second stay this year, would always go back when visiting Killarney

hotel is located directly accross the street from a large takeaway and there is loud noise from 1pm until about 4 pm on weekend nights. Hotel management are not responsible for this but could point it out to guests, and where possible, offer a room at the back of the hotel.

An excellently located hotel, right in teh middle of town, a short walk from the National Park, and the racecourse. Very friendly staff, good buffet breakfast and excellent bar food in the Danny Mann pub which doubles as the hotel bar. Highly recommended as a good value for money hotel.

First class. Could not fault staff or hotel

Hotel in general was very warm, and traffic outside the window at night was sometimes loud. Rooms could have been more soundproof, could here everyone talking in the corridor at night.

Right in the middle of the town centre. I found the hotel of very good quality. Had a great evening at Danny Manny's, a popular Irish pub which is just under the hotel. Good food and live acts every night. The only downside is that the hotel does not offer any parking. You can use the public car park behid the hotel which is 1 euro per hour between 8:30 and 6 pm Mon-Sat.

Rooms were tidy, nicely decorated and warm. Hotel located centrally close to nice Indian Restaurant Bombay Palace. Really enjoyed stay

The car park is now working but getting to it in a saloon or anything bigger is a remarkable feat. The welcome to the hotel at the rear of the car park is awful. You are signposted through restaurant, nightclub and corridors with your bags towards the reception area at the front. The smell of the hotel reception and ajoining bar/restaurant was unpleasant so we made a decision not to eat there. We had a room that required a short marathon to reach. The reception area and corridors didn't look particularly clean (more due to its age/condition than due to lack of effort on the cleaners part). The fitness suite is accessible but not particularly nice and all round I would say that this hotel is just average. The poorer end of a 3star hotel. There is nothing drastically wrong with the hotel but I'm just not sure that they got anything quite right - except perhaps the temperature of the rooms which were nice and cool.

We stayed 1 night on a Friday night and there was alot of noise shouting and running in the hallways. When we told this to reception they just shrugged their shoulders and said it was the same most weekends. The hotel is in a central location and was good value but I was put off by the noise

This was my second time staying at this hotel which is perfect location in killarney if your visiting for the nightlife. But this visit will be my last one. We booked a luxury room which stated when booking we get a delux king size bed and delux furnishings with a 26inc. TV. We got a standard double bed, we had the same furnishings that we had when we stayed in a standard room. The TV was not a 26 inc. When we brought this to the receptionist attention she advised us that the hotel was fully booked and she couldn't help us with any thing, that was it, This will definitly my last time staying here because I didn't get what I paid for.

The hotel was in a good position, the reception staff were very helpful, the bedroom was good but the breakfast was disappointing and for that reason I dont think we would stay there again.

nicely placed central hotel, unless you get your New Road and New Street mixed up as I did! 5 mins from station and right in the heart of things. Very good nonsmoking room at back, and quiet as requested. Service good. Bar and restaurant busy Sat night but better on Sunday. Helpful staff.
