Convenient location, bathroom very nice. Room too small. Hotel is dated, needs new carpet and decor. Staff very friendly.

Good hotel, but long queues for breakfast at the restaurant and very slow service.

It is a good hotel in a great location! Steps to shopping, museums and attractions. Try Spa Orange, located at the 6th floor. It is a must foe every spa traveler; an full service spa with great amenities and many services. We tried sabai stone massage?asia couple, and it was paradise.

Parking lot was directly across the street from the hotel. Great down town location accessible to all major attractions. Very reasonable price. Front desk people very helpful with directions about the city.

The hotel has clean rooms etc. However, the breakfast is in a nearby restaurant and during busy hours (8-10 a.m.) one has to wait up to half an hour until one gets seated - and this only for a beagle and a tea ...

The hotel location is second to none. The newly opened orange spa was a great experience. The staff were very friendly and very accomodating. We did not need to rent a car as the subway was in a couple of minutes walking distance.

Convenient location. No pool. Hotel was overall tidy and professional, but refused to try to accommodate our family with a larger room.

I had a wonderful stay at the BW Europa Hotel. I booked a queen size room, I found it to be smaller than expected. i have to say the rate was good, I was impressed when I brought my point to the fron office staff, and then the assistant front desk manager upgraded me to a king size room. The king size room was ideal for my needs. wireless interent, and local calls are free , it is perfect for business.

The lobby appearance was impressive. The rooms are small and the first one we were put in, had a strong stench of smoke. We were expecting more when we planned to stay at the Best Western Europe Downtown. We asked for a non-smoking room, and we were put in a room that reeked of smoke, so then we had to be moved to another room which surprisingly seemed small. And during this whole affair we were running late for our concert due to all these inconveniences. The community spaces of this hotel are aesthetic and impressive. But as for accommodations overall there was much left to be desired.

the location is amazing, everything is walking distance. Staff is very helpful. I really enjoyed my time.

Proximity to Bell Centre. Room was small, no room for legs when on toilet, no fridge, narrow hallways. I was expecting a larger room with the quality and standards that I am accustomed to. There was barely enough room to walk around the bed and no room to sit properly on the toilet, as the bathtub was right there. Due to the size, my boyfriend and I were constantly in each other's way in the room. The water took over 20 minutes to heat up and then was interspersed with cold water. I will never stay at this hotel again. I was very disappointed. It was not worth the money spent.

"This hotel is terrible. It used to be a holding place for Canadian govt. waiting to deport illegal aliens. If this hotel was recently renovated, it must have been done by blind workers. It was terrible!!! Do NOT waste your money!!!"

Staff was very helpful. Walls were paper thin, Hallway smelt like body odder, rooms too small. Our stay was short and sweet just for new years to party a bit, so I can't complain about price or sleeping arrangements. I wouldn't recommend this as a place to stay if you are looking for comfort. Rooms are extremely small. I had to put my feet in the bath tub to use the toilet. The hallway smelt of Bodily Odder. The staff was very polite and helpful. Lastly the location is great, its good alternative to sleeping in your car.

"Was not pleased. Was charged $15 for muffins and juice in the lounge area for the cont. Breakfeast. What a rip off. no sign with price, a waiter to seat you, or that it was not included in the hotel stay like every other place I have stayed. Manager was not helpful and was rude. Will not be returning. Rooms were small. Fitness room was a joke. Hot tub was big. Should be rated a 2 star or less."

Quiet hotel and decent service, was there only one night but not complaints. It was a great location! Right around the corner to Sainte Catherine and where everything was happening!

the location is fantastic if you are staying downtown. the bathroom was a little small and roomservice is something that could be introduced

Location, perfect placement. No shampoo. No visa ATM. Stayed for one night for a two hotel stint in Montreal. Next time we will stay two nights at this one despite the price. The placement of this hotel is perfect to just walk anywhere in downtown you want to go. The hotel itself was nice and served its function, you don't go to downtown Montreal on vacation to hang in the hotel. It was a good hotel all around, and my complaints were trivial compared to the overall service.

"Great location. Cool lobby. Room very small but very clean. No view to speak of; window placed too high to look out. Movie/Pay per View not functioning for entire 7 night stay. Exercise room (also very small) not air conditioned (renovation?) and heat was too stifling. Needs weights (dumb bells) and better weight machine. Good bicycle and treadmill. Excellent reception, and good Asian restaurant. Also next door to excellent and inexpensive Lebanese restaurant. Within 2 blocks of underground metro. Reception very helpful and informative."

Hotel lobby in European style and convenient location. Check-in time delayed. The location is convenience, and the lobby is nice like a boutique hotel. The one-bed room is small. The 3pm check-in time was delayed. The phone in the room was not connected until I called the receptionist to connect to make local calls. The services of some receptionists are not in very good. The coffee maker in my room did not work. After calling to the receptionist, the hotel delivered a replaced one quite soon, but it was not clean with coffee mark on it. The housekeeping ladies are friendly.

In a convenient location to major shopping, attractions and the metro. Parking, although across street, valet would have been appreciated. Exceptionally clean, modern facility. Staff helpful and courteous. Room and bath very small, however comfortable.
