We went down to AC to hit up the casinos, which were all booked by the time we decided to go. This BW is in what some might call a "sketchy" location. There may or may not have been a drug deal going down at the end of the block when we got there. The lobby was a mess when we got there, and the staff seemed overwhelmed with whatever was going on. However, seeing as we pretty much just used the hotel for sleeping and showering, it was fine. Bottom line: perfectly average, no more, no less.

The Best Western Envoy Motel is a good value for the buck. It gave us two large beds with adequate space and two storage racks for our luggage. There was a large closet to store our clothes and an adequate bathroom. Across the street there were restaurants and it was only a block away from the boardwalk. I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

None. Very poor town, and not what I expected. Didn't like the face that they did not know what price i paid for hotel. Couldn't speak to someone that was good in English. Sad that everyone employed was from another country.

It was within walking distance to the Boardwalk. It smelled in the room, we had to open the window.

The Inn is well located, a block away from the boardwalk and beach, near attractions, casinos, etc. The beach is wide and, in the middle of September, had beach patrol protection on duty. We swam in 74 degree water on both days we were there. Our room, on the 4th floor, was spacious and well equipped with a refrigerator, microwave and a in-closet safe. There were 5 or 6 plush bed pillows. The hotel personnel were very helpful especially when we had trouble gettting into the safe. Our only complaint was the lack of room for the continental breakfast. No tables. The quantity of breakfast food was very small. The only seats were on a couch. In spite of its location, the city area around the hotel was not desirable; empty lots, broken sidewalks. We would stay there again. The price was very reasonable.

The Best Western Envoy was comfrotable, the room was large filled with the extras of ironing board, iron, microwave. and frig. There was plenty of space to hang clothes along with draw space. the location was excellent for access to the Casinos near by and th e board walk.

We stayed for the weekend to attend a concert at the Taj Mahal, which is only several blocks away. We were a bit skeptical after reading the reviews. We stayed in Room 326, which was clean and updated. I would not recommend staying in a room in the main office side of the building. As we entered that hallway, it did smell, it could of been the smoking rooms combined with whatever cleaning solution they use. They definitely need to change cleaning solutions. As we turned the corner to our building, it did not smell. For the price and short walk to the casinos I would recommend this hotel. Yes, there is an abandoned building adjacent to the hotel and homeless people around the area, but that's all over Atlantic City. We would stay again if we attend another concert at the Taj Mahal.

The carpet felt a little funny and I suspect bed bugs. It was a really great place to stay. It's on the border of the ghetto but it's good. I was really surprised by the room - it was real big and really comfortable.

If you are looking for a good hotel near the casinos and want to have money to gamble with after hotel costs, try the Best Western. We found the staff freindly and helpful. The facility was clean. The only concern I may have is there are some street people that hang out near some boarded up buildings and at times they will approach you. However, this happen in front of the nice places too. It would not keep me from staying there again. There is also free parking for the guests off the street in covered bay of sorts.

"This was the best of the cheaper hotels in town. Great for those who don't want to spend over a hundred dollars for a night. It is not in the greatest part of town and one has to walk past abandoned lots to get to the boardwalk but we had no problems. Hotel is clean, rooms nice and staff friendly. For the price it can't be beat!"

Location and the cleaness of the room. Breakfast was not big enough. This hotel was a pleasant surprise. I was just looking for a place to rest my head after throwing my money away at the casinos. This hotel reached and exceeded my expectations. A great little taco stop is right next door and is very good. I think it was called Taco Hut.

"This Hotel is one of 6 we have now stayed at in the same price range. It turned out to be the BEST for our once a year every year visit to this Casino Town. It needs to be re-visited by all. "" It Has CHANGED "" People and Hotel condition."
