My boyfriend and I picked this hotel because of how close it was to state street downtown area, for a cab it was under 10 bucks and the walk is about 20 mintues, not bad at all. This was a cute hotel in a residential area, very friendly staff, I wouldnt go for the pool it wasnt very tempting. Great deal for the price though.

Location. Woke up at 9:am a Sunday by the cleaning person knocking at our door. When I pay for a room, I'm expecting not to be disturb, they didn't even have the "do not disturb" sign on the doors, they woke us up around 9:30 am to clean the room, and again at 11:00, they can wait for you to check out at noon before cleaning it or at least to have a sign you can hang outside your door to avoid being awaken when you don't want to, I would not recommend this hotel.

Our family spent the weekend in Santa Barbara and this hotel. It is excellent value for money and comfortable. Perfect for an inexpensive family weekend away!

A basic motel at the price of a luxury hotel. Small rooms, dated furnishings, very small bathrooms.

Rooms were clean. The manager was extremely rude and mean. I would not recommend this hotel.

The location of the Hotel in Santa Barbara made it very convenient to downtown and to the 101. Front desk was very helpful, and friendly. The room was comfortable, clean and the bed was great, with very firm mattress (and real bath mat, not just a "towel"). Enjoyed the pool area with the bird sanctuary. Will definitely stay here again!!

We were able to check in early which made my day after a long drive. The hotel was very nice and really clean. Our room had beautiful bedding and comfortable beds and pillows. They even had apples for us in the room as well as a DVD player which was a plus with kids. The air conditioning was forced air so it did not keep us up at night when it would turn on in the middle of the night. The pool was a little too warm for me but my kids had a great time swimming. The birdhouse was nice to see...my kids enjoyed watching them.

1 night minimum Saturday stay okay /other 2 nights. Sheets not white/bleached & no parking spaces were open. Good. Able to accommodate 3 days prior to stay. Most of area hotels are a minimum of 2 night stay on a weekend; they booked my stay 1 night on a Saturday night. In lobby, large selection of information/pamphlets on area activities & maps. Negative: Flower sheets on bed after I was told they would be white and bleached. Street noise/hard to sleep. Late at night no parking space was open/street parking is illegal/Office was closed/T parked my car on hotel grass area.

We were there at 3:30 PM to check in. The front dest told us that if we wait they will give us better room as our room was not clean yet. When we came back 1 hr later, we found that they gave our room to someone else and we were stuck with a small room. They gave our original room away.

Very Cute Hotel. Close to the shops. Very Family oriented. Beautiful Bird house next to the pool. We did encounter a few issues, but they didn't ruin our trip. Late night parking is horrible! Our Only problems were that the bed was not a queen, but we made it work. It was a full. Only one robe. Shower door didn't close properly so water was everywhere in the bathroom. And a real bummer was NO continental breakfast. Also And around 2:30 in the morning drunk 20- somethings were yelling and running out side our door. Other than that it was very nice. Some perks were that the room had a mini fridge. Fantastic pillows. Apples, yummy tea. and a beautiful pool. The location is quite close to state street. One could ride their bike there.

I liked there was a full kitchen. Large Room and bathroom. No tub. Air conditioner was not fully working. Oven broken. Front desk didn't help with A/C. This hotel is in my opinion moderate. The room was large but a bit outdated including a broken bed. In a residential area and not near the beach, State Street, nor within walking distance to anything really. I like the full kitchen, pool and spa area. Lots of free parking which is nice. Not bad but hated the mediocre A/C.

The staff was more than willing to help, gave us suggestions on restaurants and offered to call a taxi for us. The rooms were very clean, plenty of towels, shampoo etc. but were decorated from 1970.

i took my boyfriend for his 21 birthday and we really enjoyed ourselves. its only a couple blocks down from state street and the location was great!! its tucked into the neighborhood and its so cute and peaceful. i loved the room too! it was like a little cabin. it was a great place and great service too!! driver was very helpful.

Nice balcony in room. Printed sheets that looked horrible, not enough parking, and patio screen doors off track on several rooms looked very bad. They could use new sheets, provide more parking, and fix patio screen doors to all rooms.

This is an enchanting hotel with first class service. Free open wi-fi! We upgraded to a suite for just a few dollars more - was very conveninet. Lots of good eats nearby. Location is 3 blocks from State Street and easy freeway access. We will be back - this is a gem!

When we arrived, we were told that our room was upgraded from 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom. Your location was good for where we needed to go, but the people in the next room were so noisy that we could not go to sleep right away.

Good consistent best western accommodations. Pretty basic, but newly remodeled. Located in residential neighborhood near a hospital.

The front desk was helpful. Had to switch rooms due to plumbing. Overall, hotel was fine. It was very far from everything though.

Breakfast at the neigboring restaurant was excellent; must get pancakes! Room needs soundproofing--I could hear everything from adjoining rooms even folks using the toilet. Very serene otherwise. Great pool.
