The staff were friendly, the inn is small but nice. There's a small garden with a hot tub, but no pool. The room was nice - spacious and for the most part clean. The bathroom was clean and things were in good working order, although the water pressure in the shower was pretty low. There are sheers on the window (which faces the street), and when it's dark outside and light inside you wonder about your privacy. Our one big complaint was that there was chewing gum on one of the decorative bed pillows, which my wife got into her hair. When we told the staff about it at checkout, they said they'd make a note of it, they were sorry, but that was it. I would think if you really cared about people wanting to come back to your establishment, you'd discount the room for the inconvenience of having to try to get someone else's gum out of your hair. But no such discount was offered, so I'm sure we will not stay there again.

I enjoyed the staff's friendly, helpful attitude throughout our stay. The continental breakfast was presented well, also. There was a slight problem with the cleanliness of the linens, but was fixed quickly. I would recommend it based on the fact that the staff was great and the location allowed one to walk into town with no problem (if you don't mind a brisk walk). The hotel was small, and quaint. Good place to stay for the money.

This was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. The owners are meticulous about their property and have hired excellent staff. The breakfasts were more than adequate, with made-to-order waffles and homemade breads every day. A delightful place, quiet (despite being located on a busy road) and a great location for visiting all those wineries in the Napa Valley.

This Best Western was wonderful surprise! The staff is friendly, helpful and appproachable and it is centrally located to downtown Napa. The included continental breakfast was served with a variety of fruits, drinks, breads, cereals, and waffles. Complimentary sherry and cookies were placed available in the evening. The staff was helpful, friendly, and approachable. The mmaculate roomi included exta ammenities. Definitely out ot the ordinary with hospitality and charm.

This was just a quick getaway vacation for my husband and I. We picked this hotel cause it said it was within walking distance to downtown. It was more like a 25 minute walk so we drove instead. The hotel was very clean and they were friendly. Although our room wasn't ready the staff gave us a very detailed map of all the wineries and even suggested a great spot for us to eat lunch at. It was a great suggestion. Our room was very clean, but our window faced the back parking lot (we were on the first floor) and that made for less privacy (we had to keep our curtains and windows closed the whole time). The breakfast was awesome. Homemade waffles, coffee, etc. It kinda made up for the room near the parking garage. It was reasonably priced and the bed was comfortable.

Beautiful decor, friendly staff, delicious plentiful breakfasts, yummy evening treat. Rooms were on the smaller side. This delightful small hotel felt and looked more like a bed and breakfast than a participant to a main stream hotel chain. The European ambiance and friendly staff was absolutely delightful. The abundant breakfast was served on linen table cloths and napkins in the dining area inside or on the patio next to a bubbling fountain. Delicious warm cookies and sherry were served in the evening. The hotel is just a short walking distance to downtown and close to the freeway.

After a day of wine tasting in Napa, our group of two couples enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Inn. Even though it is part of a chain, it felt like a private inn. The owners greeted us in the evening and in the morning, and personally served us a great breakfast, including fresh waffles and a warm oatmeal bar with a wide variety of toppings. The warm homemade cookies upon check-in were very yummy. Everything was clean and nice, and we were happy to see the sink located outside of the toilet/shower area. We would stay here again and would recommend this Inn to others.

This hotel was very clean, cute, and friendly. They had cookies ready when we checked in. Breakfast was great, waffles each day. I will stay here again in the future, couldn't get much better than this for the price. There was some noise from the road, but not too bad.

Hotel is in a convenient location. Serve good breakfast. The hotel is in a convenient location, close to downtown Napa, and we enjoyed our stay at the hotel, with a homey feel. They serve breakfast, and cookies, coffee or tea at night. The staff is very nice and accommodating, checking in and checking out is a breeze. The room is clean, bed and pillow is soft and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

The Elm House Inn was very cute, charming & cozy and the staff were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was delicious (they really do have the best Belgian waffles!) and the staff was super attentive. The desk clerk even ran out to us in the parking lot to catch us before we left with some traffic news (Hwy 12 was closed due to a chemical spill). The room was a good size & nicely decorated, as was the sitting room. I was impressed with the inn's plants as well -- very healthy and added a nice touch.

We were on our 40th wedding anniversary trip. I questioned staying in Napa, CA at a Best Western. We were gratefully surprised. The accommodations were just right - clean, well cared for with plenty of space. The breakfast was well served and provided a great start to the day. The staff was as helpful as you could want anywhere. They made it a truly memorable stay. If we return to NAPA, we will stay at the Elm House Inn.

The Best Western Elm House was very comfortable and had a friendly, cozy atmosphere. The inn was filled with the aroma of home baked cookies on our arrival. The staff was very friendly and the deluxe continental breakfast was excellent. The sitting area in the main lobby was very well decorated and the warm fire in the fireplace in the evening was very relaxing. The room size was very adequate and the room was bright and cheerie. It was nice that there were two sinks, one in the bathroom and a separate vanity dressing area outside the bath. There was adequate space for hanging clothes and they provided two suitcase stands. The location is good, just outside the main town of Napa, and close to the main Highway Route 29. Ideal for a wine country getaway. Short distance to all the Napa Valley wineries and restaurants.
