I was disappointed in the overall condition of the room. There was a coffee pot but no cups and the alarm clock did not work. It wasn't a big comfort when I called and asked for a wake up call and was told to,"set your alarm just in case". One bar of soap provided and no shampoo included. Overall a bed in a good location especially if you like chinese food.

Convenient location, close to union station. The room, while clean, had a hotel room smell. This hotel is conveniently located near union station (about 15 minutes walk) in Chinatown. There are many good food options around and it is also close to the Dodgers Stadium. A variety of public transit options are available nearby making it a good base camp for adventures in the Los Angeles area.

The Best Western Dragon Gate Inn in Los Angeles, California was right in the middle of downtown LA. I loved staying there because I could walk to Chinatown each morning to enjoy dim sum. The people there just ignore you and let you enjoy the surrounding. Most of the food are good deals and so are the merchandises. From the hotel it only took me 15 minutes to get to Universal Studio, where my friends and I stayed all day. The room was somewhat spacious and it had a fridge that kept our drinks cold. When we were all worn out from visiting the many attractions, the hotel room was a welcome site. The area surround the hotel was very peaceful and it made me feel safe and carefree.

It was really clean and neat, the beds were huge too. The breakfast wasn't too tasty. Really nice and helpful staff. Rooms better than expected.Really clean.

"Stayed four nights on a business trip and found the Dragon Gate comfortable and quiet. Security was excellent, though the $8 parking fee was a surprise."

The only good thing about it is that the room is quite spacious. The breakfast was bad, the caffee was really tiny and all the food and drinks seem not to be fresh nor clean. We could see many flies around. The amenities were old.

Comfort and clean in the room. The breakfast and the place where the breakfast was. That was a very bad experience because the infrastructure was not at the level of the Hotel.

It was a horrible experience. The worst hotel my family ever stayed in. The shower was broken. NO hot water, water pressure was weak. Internet was not functioning for the first two days and when they fixed It was slower than dial up. The parking attendent made a dent in my car. The experience basically ruined our family reunion. The lighting in the room was bad. The rooms were dark and one of the light bulb went out. It was HORRIBLE!! I will never take my family here even if it was free.

The Best Western Dragon Inn was very comfortable. The rooms are clean and safe. The staff are very freindly and helpful. There is a refrigerator in the room that makes convient and helpful. It is located in the heart of Chinatown surrounded by lots of shops and excellent restaurants. It is also close to dowtown LA and vicity. There is a hotel parking, but charge an $8 fee/night which the surrounding lot change between $3-$5. I will definetly come and stay at the Best Western Dragon Inn again. I just wish that I have known this hotel before.

I enjoyed the Breakfast and the room was nice. Their printer did not work but the receptions help out. It was the perfect spot to stop at. My husband andI enjoyed the breakfast and the parking was secure with a guard to take care of it. The bed was comfy perfect to sleep in after a long day of fun.

I paid about $*/night for a room and I thought it was a great value! The hotel is close to downtown LA and very convenient to the 101. I felt very safe and comfortable. There is a valet parking garage for $8/night, the rooms are large, clean and comfortable, and the continental breakfast is great. We would stay here again!

I was on a trip to the L.A. Mart for the first time and location was important to me so I selected this hotel which is a straight shot down Hill Street to the Mart. The hotel is in an older part of town and in the heart of China Town. The guests were from all over the world. All were fun and pleased with the hotel, as were we. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. I would stay there again.

Overall good experience. The only employee that was playing with a full deck was one of the valet attendants. Everyone was nice and the price was awesome! The room needed to be cleaned a little better. I will stay here again when I have to go back to L.A.

We got a great rate of $*/night for our stay. The hotel is located right in China Town which was convenient to downtown LA and the 101 freeway. We went to Universal Studios, which is about 15 minutes away. I felt safe at all times (despite being so close to downtown) and the parking was great...although the garage is small. They valet your car, which was really nice. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The continental breakfast is GREAT, even with fresh waffles! Our family would stay here again!

Room was of good size. This hotel is in a good location and has so much potential but all of the rooms need to be remodeled. The staff is also not very helpful.

"I thought the customer service was wonderful! However, the surrounding area was very dirty. The streets were very filthy. The bedding was uncomfortable as well. Next time, I think I will spend the extra money to stay at a nicer hotel."

I was pretty dissappointed when I arrived there. It was middle of china town and the building looked old and small. The breakfast was the worst. I had to pick every little stuff by myself among the packed other guests in the very small market, and there were only few tables and chairs outside and it was rainy, so I brought my breakfast full in my hands back in my room in order to eat them. Staffs were kind, and the room was neat. I really liked those, but I couldn't choose the beds.

I feel extremely comfortable with the parking garage attendants and the safety of my vehicle. Some of the hotel staff are unfriendly. I have stayed at the Dragon Gate several times and I will again in the future because my own personal convenience. The staff has an equal share of unfriendly and rude, and helpful and kind attendants. And I feel confident with the safety of my vehicle in the parking garage. The parking garage attendants are very pleasant and appear alert. Overall my several experiences with the hotel have been positive and pleasing.
