We had a hard time fining the place due to poor signage. THe room smelled like old smoking rooms. The breakfast was a joke...not even any fresh fruit or yogart. I do not think I will stay at a Best Westren again, the Super 8 across the street was so much nicer and more accomdating. There was no shampoo or tolitres at all

Very clean and friendly staff, excellent renovations. My stay at this hotel was great. Since my last visit, it is obvious that the ownership has really stepped up. The rooms have been renovated and the entire hotel was converted to non-smoking. They replaced the old beds with pillow top mattresses, beautiful new blankets, and plush new pillows. There were so many nice things added to the rooms. Everything was so clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and a good breakfast topped off a wonderful stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Dawsonville.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. It is in a great location and is always very nice. They have been making improvments and they are very good. Rooms are well equipped. The breakfast was very nice with a good variety. High speed internet worked very well which is a must for a business traveler. Location is next to a shopping mall which is good if you forget something

For the price, the hotel was very good. The room did smell a little stale, but was very adequate for what we needed. The breakfast was good, but not a huge selection. The breakfast staff was very friendly, however the check-in folks were neither friendly or unfriendly. We didn't use any of the amenities such as pool, exercise room, etc. It was quiet even though we were put in the room by all the air conditioners. I don't know if that was because we paid such a low price, but it didn't bother us. Overall, we would go back and stay there again.

Location to the Outlet Mall. Air not working properly. Comforters nasty. Needs an update. Comforters on bed dont look like they have been cleaned in ages. Actually threw those in the corner for the weekend.

i noticed lots of updates to the rooms as well other areas bathrooms are excellent updated with granite vanities,with new wall mirrors ,oval shower rods with new style curtains rooms are clean and smell good it appears the management and house keeping staff working hard to keep rooms in good condition and smell so on and so forth wireless inter net is excellent so as break fast and pool and spa this hotel is just few miles north of corporate world with companies like VERIZON,AT&T,LUCENT TECHNOLOGIES,RAIDER AND NEXTEL,for the price i paid before to stay at a hotel near corporate world fo one night,i found exact same amenities and comforts i received for the price of nearly two nights at this bestwestern i understand from front desk personel who seems very professional and knowledgeble that new beddig and window drapes to be installed soon i am looking forward i will stay myself and recomend my freinds this hotel

The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel room was okay. The outlet stores are close enough to walk to if you like and there are restaurants nearby. I don't think they had a restaruant on the premises and the continental breakfast was nothing to brag about but we ate at another location so I don't know too much about that part.

The rooms were clean and the staff tried very hard. They had booked a wedding party without having reasonable facilities this party was very loud until after 2 AM. Nice clean, staff tries very hard. However the management booked a wedding party and they only have a standard room size meeting room. The wedding party brought a keg in at 9:30 PM. Needless to say it was after 2:30 before I was able to get to sleep. When I complained to the staff they tried to quiet them down, but it was apparent they did not have the authorization to call police or remove the people fighting in the parking lot. Over all not the best motel of this year!

Great location but awful stay! Hotel had changed to all non-smoking 3 months ago but our room reaked of cigarette smoke. It was so bad we bought popcorn and popped 5 bags in the microwave and poured pinesol in cups and sat them around the room to help. This allowed us to get to sleep. Vending machines were empty and out of order. We weren't offered any compensation for paying for non-smoking room and getting this room. My pillows still smell like this room. The bath towels were so thin it took 3 to get dry. I would NEVER IN MY LIFE stay here again and in fact would probably never stay in another Best Western ever again.

The Best Western in Dawsonville, GA is a very reasonably priced hotel, rooms are nice, and there is a swimming pool. The only complaint is that they cleaned my room twice during my stay. When I asked the front desk I was told that at the rate I was paying they clean romms only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Location. Breakfast ran out of paper plates with no refill at 7:20. Hotel is undergoing outside maintenance. Location was very convenient. Animals were not on lease inside and walked through lobby (which included food area). Staff was friendly. Spa really needed to be bumped up in temperature, however, was ok if you like it just warm. Would consider staying there again if necessary.

We wanted a central location to visit different attractions in the area and we were not disappointed with this motel. The staff was very friendly on all shifts. Our room was clean and comfortable to just kick back in after a day of hiking in the mountains. The breakfast was good and plentiful with great waffles. An added great feature was you could walk to the outlet mall next door or to local restaurants. We will be back.

I always stay at this hotel when I am in Dawsonville. I like the atmosphere, the continental breakfast is pretty good, and you get your money's worth. The location is convenient and it's in a safe place. The hotel is comfortable and staff are friendly.

Breakfast - had nice, thick waffles. The bed - old mattress and was hard. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and the small continental breakfast was adequate due to some very nice waffles that you made yourself. Now the down side - the hotel was under some repair, was dimly lit and older looking. There seemed to be some suspicious looking guest hanging around near the pool area. My husband and I were looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub, but the pool area didn't look very inviting. For the price the stay was okay, but I would have felt a bit nervous about my safety if I had been traveling alone.

"To begin, this hotel is top notch for the price you pay. The hotel is freshly remodeled with a beautiful lobby and spacious, clean and tidy rooms. The facilities here are superb. With a indoor heated pool and jacuzzi, my stay here was that much more enjoyable. There is a free continental deluxe breakfast that is great as well. Within walking distance from the outlet mall, this hotel is a prime location for anyone and everyone's shopping desires. The staff was excellent, helpful and courtious and attentive to my every needs. I would recommend this hotel to all of my family and friends."

i pick up this hotel from on line there are three hotels in the area close to my business activity by random i choose this hotel without knowing how it is after my stay i felt it is awsome rooms were freshley carpeted gives rich look meeting room is newly furnished and the entire property smells good i hope the owners will convert hotel into non smoking 100% after my hectic business tour in the evening iwent to pool to get my self relaxed the pool is nice and warm with new furniture and plants it is really good business center is good excepcially the staff at fron desk is so nice good looking talk to me like professionals the house keeping staff is very good to.this hotel stay made me feel like pleasure bu i am a business person i will keep staying in this hotel in future trips also recomend my freinds and family good luck hotel

The Best Western Dawsonville Inn was such a nice experience. We will stay at Best Western hotels in the future. The rooms were very clean and orderly. The outlet mall was within walking distance and we didn't have any traffic to contend with. There were restaurants close by and there were many attractions in the area. We brought our toy poodle Charlie because the hotel was pet friendly which means a lot to us.Even Charlie loved the mini vacation at the Best Western @Dawsonville. We loved the breakfast the staff had for the guest and there was plenty of room everyone. We really like our stay and were pleasantly surprised at how hard working the staff was to make the guests stay so comfortable. Customer service is alive and well at Best Western Dawsonville GA!

The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. They advertise a deluxe continental breakfast but I was not impressed. I have seen better. There was a large group of us with a disabled man included and a lot of children. The accommodations were exactly what we needed and we were not hassled about the noise. The front desk staff was excellent. I was not impressed by the continental breakfast. It was not supplied well enough and there was not enough chairs for the tables.

Our stay was overall a good one. I didn't particularly like the fragance that was common in the hotel. It was quiet with comfortable beds and an accomodating staff. The cereal for breakfast could have been fresher or a better quality, I'm not sure which. I would recommend it.
