Surprisingly well locatedMaps don't always tell the whole story! I was surprised how centrally located this hotel was, just a stones throw from main shopping street and the Cathedral Tram stop. The route from the station is easy too, provided you follow the directions and follow what initially appear to be dead end streets.Rooms are better than many of the chains, but one tip...the opening windows are too high up to reach yourself - whilst you can push them shut, you need to ask the staff to open or close them fully- so make sure you do that when you arrive rather than when you have settled down to sleep! With the windows closed there is almost no noise from the main street which a very convenient 70 metres away down a narrow street.Didn't try breakfast as tariff was Room Only and there are many well priced breakfast offerings close by.

Great Hotel 2 stops on the tram from the train station.Reception staff was very friendly and helpful.Room was very clean and tidy.Bathroom was very clean.Bed was very comfortable.Room was compact, but was ok for what we needed it for.

Our stay at Cutlers hotel Sheffield 27/06/2009Would be really hard pressed to come up with any criticism, except that our room was rather small for a double and as it was a very hot night, it felt quite airless in there, despite the fan provided. By contrast, the bathroom was lovely and spacious. The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. If we could have a bigger room we would not hesitate to stay there again.

A good cut at CutlersI found the staff to be courteous and attentive.The room was clean and the only mark to be found was a very silly comment written in the Gideons Bible.The room was small but everything was one needed for the single traveller was there.The continental breakfast was well presented and more than adequate.Over all the hotel provided good value for money.

Cutlers is tucked away in a side street and the map and directions are essential and helpful. The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming and the hotel facilities are reasonable and good value for the price offered through Laterooms. Parking is close by in a covered underground car park and rates are reasonable.

I got the 'business traveller' deal of Â£80 for a single room with breakfast and dinner (3 courses and half a bottle of wine) included, which I thought was very good value. My room was spotlessly clean and well appointed, with nice touches like iPod docking station and flat screen TV. The service was friendly and pleasant. Nothing bad to say about the place really, it is ideal for a business trip.

Refurbished?I was quite shocked at this particular best western hotel. It was suppose to have been refurbished?? Just a coat of paint I think and a few new cupboards. For the amount of money we paid - it was very poor in standard. Staff couldnt care less about the customers very unfriendly. was pretty shocked at the lack of any amenties. Restaurant for breakfast was like see how many people we can squash into one room - appalling

Very helpful staff. Only warning is that its not the easiest of hotels to get to due to the road layout in Sheffield centre. The car park can easily be missed.

Not bad for the cash very crampt room (couldnt walk into it carrying a bag by your side as too narrow - and I consider myself slim!) strange to have a sink in the bedroom and not in the en suite... otherwise all clean and presentable. Very central to the shops and almost next door to that snooker place venue (name escapes me right now) and the winter gardens.

Worth a stayIt's not easy to find, we gave up and asked a ambulance the way, he said you'll never find it, so follow me. Very kind and correct. The hotel is quite good, central and tidy. Probably in the upper end of this star rating. Great food and fast breakfast service. The internet was bit disappointing. The wifi was so weak, I had to drag a chair to the door to get a coonection and the cable connection didn't work. On the positive side once connected the wifi worked well and was free.
