We thought the location was great...everything was in walking distance in the town. We specifically booked this hotel because it said that it had a fitness room. Imagine our disappointment when arriving and finding out that they did not have anywhere to work out. The staff at check-in and check-out were so unfriendly and seemed completely bothered by us being there. The continental breakfast was mediocre at best. We stayed at Holiday Inn Express at other stops along the way and would recommend using them as they were all very hospitable and the breakfasts were great!

Convenient to Yellowstone entrance, was able to pick up entrance ticket the night before and save the wait in line the next morning. Noisy water pipes. A cut above economy rating it was clean, friendly and was what I expected for the price. If you have money to blow there are some beautiful hotels in west otherwise stay here and save your money for a sweatshirt or 3.

Chose this hotel due to its great location and amenities - dog-friendly, continental breakfast, free internet and a pool with a hot tub. All in all our room was exceptionally clean, the staff friendly, and you can walk anywhere in town from the hotel room. Also 1 block from the local brewery which had awesome prime rib soft tacos!

Great location, close to park and downtown. Thin walls, noisy, terrible mattress, broken pool house heater! Wireless Internet only in lobby, no signal in room. Pool house heater broken. Thin walls, noise from street and adjoining rooms made sleep difficult, poor mattress didn't help. New vinyl siding was being installed at 8:00 am. Plumbing noise was amazingly loud! (Neighbors flushing toilet wakes you up 3 times a night). Spend the extra money for a better quality hotel.

Everything is fine. Just the internet connection is not good. There is no password for it. People around the hotle can access it without problem. I lost connections very often. I gave up later.

My first time to West Yellowstone and very satisfied with this motel. Room was very clean, beds were excellent shape and comfortable. Amenities such as refrigerator, microwave, extra towels, etc were fine. While this motel appeared to be on one of the main streets, traffic and noise were no problem. The continental breakfast was adequate with cereals, danish pastry and hard boiled eggs and choices of breads. OK but not spectacular. The price of the motel was excellent for what I received. It was within minutes of entrance to the park and ample food establishments and laundrmat I would go there again without hesitation.

The Best Western Crosswinds Motor Inn is in a very small town that is at the western entrance to Yellowstone National Park. It provides a refrigerator of ample size, microwave & coffee maker for travelers who wish to economize. A free continental breakfast that offers a more than sufficient selection of items is provided. Parking is conveniently located. We had a slight problem with the bathtub fixtures--e.g. a drain plug that didn't work properly. I'm sure the ownership will replace them as time allows. Also, in the busy summer season, it can be noisy on some nights if you retire early & aren't a sound sleeper. Overall, our experience there (3 night stay) a good one.

It's time for this Best Western to update their bedding,comforters and sound proofing their rooms. The breakfast area has seating for maybe 12, but 50 people at a time are their to eat breakfast. After the 1st day it's just easier to by a roll at the local bakery which is very nice.

The Best Western Cross-Winds was a great place to rest after touring Yellowstone for two days. Hotel staff were courteous and helpful with suggestions for good meals--dinner and breakfast. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast provided by the hotel was spartan and the eating area was small, especially with the hotel full. However, the staff warned us about this and suggested that we could fix our breakfast and eat in our room. We choose to take their suggestion of good eating places and eat breakfast at a local restaurant. The location is easy to find, although with 3 Best Westerns in town, simply looking for the Best western sign won't help, even in this small community.

Typical no frills room with a very small bath. Luckily, we were there only to sleep. Location was OK, but since West Yellowstone is so small, all motels in town have a similar location.

We found this hotel to be very comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast was lacking, however, it got us on our way.
