Got the impression that one cup of coffee per visitor was the limit at breakfast which is disappointing. Hotel was fine, though room a bit dated - though was fair at the price paid

27/07/09 Very clean if rather dated hotel (1960's). Generally offhand and disinterested staff. Poor quality breakfast presented very casually. We experienced a problem which was known by some of the staff but who did nothing proactivly. When we raised a complaint, it was resolved efficiently but it should not have been necessary to raise it. Cheap and I suppose you get what you pay for. I would stay again because it is cheap, well maintained and clean but would not reccommend it to a friend.

Nothing specialRoom felt a bit cramped. As a business user it was great to have the free wireless access in the room but the cramped conditions and lack of work space meant it was hard to do meaningful work in the room.Shower was slow and adequate but have experience better in other less expensive hotels. On check out the person at the desk felt he had to continue and finish what he was doing on the computer keeping me, the client waiting, what might have been a short time, but felt like ages.A dance party kept noise levels high till late into the night.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!first room we had the shower was broken and could only point at the opposite wall (but that wasnt why we moved rooms!), the toilet also made a lovely loud honking noise for about 5 minutes after being flushed (but that wasnt why we moved rooms!), the reason we asked to move is that the hotel has a party night every friday and our room was situated above the disco which goes on till about 1 in the morning. The room we moved to was pretty much of the same shabby standard but the walls must have been paper thin, you could even hear the next rooms to us going to the toilet (very nice to be woken up to that at half 4 in the morning), the toilet took 5 minutes to refil very noisily and the hot water tap was also broken. Altogether just a shabby hotel which should be avoided

UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCEIt was a very unpleasant experience as I checked in around 12.30p.m. After that, someone else got checked in my room as well and that other couple walked in my room and they got totally surprised. I was shocked. The couple said we just checked in and I said the same. I called reception but they only said'We are sorry'. Also on my checkout, I mentioned but no response.

Room noisy at night and early (4am ) morning due to air handling equipment on roof. Pillars very hard and uncomftable

Disappointed. The Receptionist preferred to chat with a Colleague/Friend on the phone whilst I filled out booking details. I had to interrupt to obtain my Room Key/card. After a long journey the last thing I wanted! I then chose Room Service for my Food which took 45 Mins to arrive. The Evening Waitress was very polite and apologetic which helped. The following morning I had to chase Waiting Staff to order Coffee and Scrambled Egg.When I checked out the Receptionist (same as the night before) was laid back, polite and friendly. Shame I'd not received the same attention upon first impression!

Don't stay here!!This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in!! The rooms are tiny. On check in the two young female receptionist seemed more intent on having a convestation with each other than actually checking guest in, they gave you no information about the facities of the hotel, breakfast times etc...The room was tiny and I had to climb over a bags of laundry to get to it. There was no TV remote control when I called down the male receptionist was very unhelpful and said he would have to put me through to housekeeping. I don't understand why he just coundn't arrange for a remote control to be brought to the room. The same thing happened when we called down to ask for them to call us a taxi - he said he would give us a number for a taxi firm?? good customer service - i think not.At 5am in the morning the fire alarm went off we were told be member of staff that it was false alarm as someone had been smoking in the room and there was no need to leave our room we were then told by another member of staff that everyone had to evacuate the building and move away from the hotel, half an hour later when we were allowed back into the hotel the alarm was still going off when we asked the receptionist when the alarm would be stopped she said she didn't know and that some alarm people were coming out look at it. It eventually went off after what seemed like hours. The next morning despite hotel guest being stood outside from 5 in the morning and then having to put up with a fire alarm going of for hours, the housekeeper was banging on our door at 10.30am to see when we were checking out?!!

We went down to breakfast for 0700, but on arrival in restaurant were told breakfast did not start until 0700. The web site advertised breakfast for 0700 start as did the room card. I asked reception for refund for breakfast as i had to travel back to Kent and could not waste an hour, they said they could not authorise a refund.I have requested late rooms to refund me the price of two breakfasts. I recieved an email to say they have recieved my request, i am still waiting for an answer.

Room clean and adequate, a bit like sleeping on the motorway as my room was next to the dual carriageway. Food in the restaurant very good and breakfast excellent, a bit pricey but then it is close to the airport
