While the hotel is probably adequate for the average traveler, and is a good value for the money, it was not a good place for seniors. The elderly couple (88 and 86 years old) could not get around in the place easily. Also, since they wanted to sleep in a bit after a long trip to get there, there was nothing to eat once they got up. Again, these are issues that won't bother the average traveler as long they have access to a car, and/or don't sleep in.

Breakfast had a variety of quick foods. Overall, the breakfast was great. Hotel would have been good for a one night stay. It was being remodeled and the staff was not very friendly. The maids cleaned the room on the second day we were there but did not come back to empty trash or bring new towels. Not good for family vacation stay or a couple of nights.

I was missed informed about trailer parking, there is no trailer parking. Did get a good rate, but the rooms were not as clean as most Best Western and I was not able to handle my bill like I normally do...

Front desk didn't care if I were checking in or not, they continued on (it looked like) a private telephone conversation.Room located across from drive in resturant, not very secure feeling...(no problems occurred).Room just didn't seem clean and had a stale smell...

The Best Western was a nice hotel for the money. I only had to stay one night and it was nearby my conference. It was nice to have the free wireless internet connection.

Friendly staff and many near-by restaurants. Great staff and a clean room. Enjoyed complimentary breakfast of waffles, eggs and juice. Surrounding area has other small restaurants (one open 24 hours).

The Best Wesern Colonial Inn was centrally located to the various places I visited in Kingsport. Clerks at check-in were a bit preoccupied, but friendly. The room was spacious with a king-sized bed, desk, TV armoire, loveseat and coffee table. The loveseat was a fold-out bed, which was broken. The bed was extremely comfortable, but there were no extra blankets and it took two days to get extra pillows brought up. The bathroom was clean, as was the vanity outside. There was an iron, ironing board and a hair dryer. The hair dryer did not work. There was a small refrigerator/freezer and a coffee maker. There was an open two-pack of coffee (which was never refilled or added to). The liner in our ice bucket was not emptied for our entire stay. The was an exercise room available on premises and a small conference room. The continental breakfast was excellent, with juices, fruit, pastries, waffles, cereals, milk, coffee and tea. While the Colonial Inn did not have a restaurant, there were many eateries within walking distance, and many others just a short drive away. While I have a number of complaints listed, none of them were of a proportion that made my stay unenjoyable. Most of the shortcomings were things that I didn't need or use. I feel that I received a good value for the price.

Nothing! The safety and ease of getting to the room. Must be a athlete to maneuvered the broker and slippery concrete steps in order to get to your room. Must always lock up your personal belongings because someone might enter the room at any time.

Check in was fast and efficient. Clerk was polite. Was disappointed that I did not check closer at the accommodations since no pool on site. When we arrived I had a very speedy check in. This was great. As I surveyed the accommodations I realized there was no pool on site, only an exercise room that was very small. Not very appealing. Then looking at the computer they had on site for use to check email. a sign stated it was out for repair. It was out for repair for the entire trip. The room was comfy and meet expectations.

Great service by the desk clerk. Went out of her way to help me. Nothing. The hotel was very nice and I am glad I picked that hotel.

Safe area. Older Best Western, small rooms. I stay at a lot of Best Western Hotels. This one is an older version Best Western. The rooms are very small and the lobby is small. No business center available but remodeling projects promised one in the future. The area had enough restaurants to accommodate. I have received better value for the money.

Price. Due to renovating, they pulled their continental breakfast very early and we had to purchase our own. We were expecting a reasonable continental breakfast, but due to renovating, they had pulled their breakfast early and we had to purchase breakfast for our family of five, which we were not planning for. General housekeeping was not performed either, and we were told that we could come to the front desk to get towels. Poor experience.

The room was clean and well appointed. The room was warm on the cold day that I arrived. The lobby was under construction. I was pleasantly surprised by this two star motel. Hotel was an average 1 or 2 star hotel. Wasn't the quality. Hotel was fine.

Conveniet to highways. Air conditioner was rather loud. In desparate need of updating. The bathtub had been re-glazed at some time in the past, but the finish was peeling off. Some mold in the bathroom grout. The floors appeared to have been vacuumed, but the carpets had multiple stains. I do think that housekeeping did the best they could with what they had, but the hotel needs to sink some money into updating the facility.

Location. Commode running constantly, noise from highway & guests, blood on sheet. The pillows were very lumpy and beds were uncomfortable. The highway noise was loud in the room. We didn't sleep at all. One of the sheets was dirty - it looked like blood. The free breakfast was ok.

It is clean. Mattresses were worn out. O.K. place for a night stop. Entrances on the outside of building.
