The front dest staff as well as the housekeeping staff were all friendly, helpful and considerate. Our room was upgraded for free to a room with kitchenette which was great since we were there for almost a week. My great-nephews came over and spent the day. They loved the pool and there was a kiddie pool for them!

Big rooms and no stairs.

No complaints. This was nice clean hotel with a helpful staff. The location is excellent right off of i-44. My room was made daily, the two pools onsite were clean and fun to relax in.

Facility had an old feel to it. Room was very small and had the feel of a cabin. Looked out the back window of my room and there was junk in the yard, old motel sign and unused things that they didn't want to dispose or probably didn't want to pay to dispose of it. It was junk. Room looked clean but I just had an uncomfortable feeling about it. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it. I felt it was not a good value.

Location, breakfast. Room old but painted, windows too high to see out. Older motel, upkeep okay, room where we where put had no window to see out. Ask for another room with window okay but $10.00 extra. A better location okay but another $10.00. Two beds okay but $10.00 extra.

First room the bathroom was dirty with dirty footprints and hair on floor. Second room beds were uncomfortable and all three had backaches in morning. The workers tried to help by letting us have second room at reduced rate but that was all they could do.

This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel and we liked it very much. Would stay here again

Place was old. Room was a queen (preferred a king) and as far away from lobby as possible. Lobby was okay. Rest of the place based on our room should be torn down and rebuilt. Definitely not a 2 star. Based on this stay I will only use Priceline for 3 star or better where our experience has been good.

Great breakfast in the morning. Computer access in the lobby allowed me to keep up with my email. Fridge in room helped keep our drinks and food cold. Very friendly and helpful staff.

No high chairs in breakfast room. Wi-Fi did not work in room. No indoor pool. Hotel looked like it has some recently renovated rooms, but they put us at the back of the property in an older room. No indoor pool, so not that great to stay here with a child in colder months. Wi-Fi did not work in our room. They have a continental breakfast that was very nice if you do not have a young child. I have a 2 year old and had to try and hold him on my lap while we ate. Since they do not have any high chair or booster seats. Overall if you just need to sleep in Springfield for a night and all you care is about a bed go for it. I'll stay somewhere else next time.

I was just traveling through on my way to St. Louis; this Best Western was easy to find and check in was quick and easy. It was a little weird that the window was in the back of the room and not in the front- usually I enjoy checking on my car but my view was of the ugly dilapidated building behind the hotel. Overall though I enjoyed the experience, and would stay in the hotel again.

Friendly staff. Every room smelled like an ashtray. Every room, including the non smoking rooms, smelled like an ashtray. At night, many occupants were partying in front of their rooms making noise, slamming car doors, and honking horns. I would never return to this hotel, as it was worse then most Motel 6 rooms I had stayed in.

Breakfast menu. Gave me a smoking room. Very nice setting.

The hotel had the incorrect room type for me when I arrived. When I explained what room I needed they would not budge without charging me more. I called Priceline and they contacted the hotel and it was immediately fixed, but the hassle additional 15 minutes seemed senseless.

Very helpful staff. Bed was a very tiny queen.

Locatio. Old. Old typical motel. All level entry. 7.5 acres. There were 2 pools, clean, yet dated. Drive right up to your door. Great breakfast with a wide selection of choices.

Free breakfast andfriendly staff. Noisy after 10 p.m. Good: friendly staff, clean room andexcellent breakfast.Bad: filthy ice machine room, noisy people drinking outside of rooms. They need someone to walk parking area outside of rooms to quiet people down and not drink in parking area.

Comfortable beds, quiet, kitchenette with microwave & fridge. The door was not properly sealed, but heater worked. We would definitely go back to this motel. Breakfast was good, our room was comfortable and quiet. The heater worked well, and we enjoyed the kitchenette. It even had a DVD player in the room. We slept great in the bed!
Date of Stay:
November, 2008
Breakfast was ok. Double sized bed and very dark and dingy. The part of the motel we stayed in was in the back and really showing its age. Bed was only a double size and the room was very dark. Could hear the man in the next room snoring.
