The location is excellent. We did not pay for all inclusive so we were able to eat a variety of different foods and for a cheaper cost than all inclusive. It located on the lagoon side but you have access to the beach. I personally like the lagoon side because it is tranquil and quiet. You are steps away from all the action. The rooms are not 5 star but they are very clean and have a great view. I was not pressured by the hotel to view a timeshare because I simply told them I do not have a credit card and I am only 18 (wink wink) We took advantage of all the free things that were offered and took the bus EVERYWHERE since it is cheaper. The taxis will negotiate if you know your stuff. Overall it was an awesome trip!

Located across from the convention center and the best nightclubs in Cancun. Easy access to everything!. Staff is friendly and rooms are very clean and roomy. Restaurant is very small wilth a very limited menu but the food was excellent. If you are looking for a more extensive menu there are many very good restaurants within walking distance. We are going to return again this year.

We have a time share at Royal Sands and we loved staying at the "Clipper" to experience the real city life of Cancun. It was great and the location is perfect as well as beautiful. The experience of the friendly staff and the atmosphier of the "outside" cafe and bar is outstanding.Thank you for one of our mosy memorial vacations ever.

My wife and I went on our honeymoon in Cancun. The Clipper was an excellent location to go to the beach, hit the bars, go to shops, and was on the bus route to go anywhere else for like 75 pesos (about 5 bucks). We had a great time and will go back to the Clipper. It was nice and quiet, yet close to everything.

I absolutely loved this hotel.I went for spring break from march 1 - march 5 2009, and most college dtudents stay at the oasis but it so far from all the night life. The Cancun Clipper Club is a minute from the beach , and right around the corner from all the clubs: Daddyo's, CONGO( THE BEST), Coco Bongo and sooooo much more. It's also 3 minutes walking from Senior Frogs which is a bar. resturant that you MUST visit while in Cancun. The hotel is beautiful , you have an amazing view from your rooms and the pool is clean and the hotels resturant is the best and cheap we got dinner for three and soft drinks for next to nothing, and they accept both dollars and pesos. They also have a travel agent inside the hotel who sells tickets for everything from swimming with dolphins to the wet and wild water park and he was sooo nice. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. It's also in a very safe area and there is 24 hr security at the entrance of the hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed only one night (we arrived on Sat., couldn't check into our timeshare until Sun.)My husband's legs were hanging off the bed. Thee shower pressure was so weak I couldn't rinse my hair. We met a few travelers staying there who loved it. The location is awesome if you're there for the bars and night-life. If the room is just a place to crash between parties it's great. I wouldn't recommend it for older couples like myself. The breakfast was excellent, and the grounds were beautifully kept.

This hotel had a great location in term of being close to shopping, attractions and restaurants. This was a good thing especially since the hotel resturant was not the greatest. It took a long time to even get waited on, let alone get your beverage, or heaven forbid, a refill, though at least oncd you got yoru food it was good. We were in Cancun to dive and were very pleased with the dive shop, Scuba Fred's, which was on site. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. Free internet was also a plus!
