The hotel was very nice. The rooms were a nice zied and had a huge bed, fridge, microwave, tv, wireless internet, couch...can't complain. Continental breakfast was good, too. The only con is that it is off of the highway and located in more of a business area than residential so it isn't too good for walking around.

The breakfast and staff were nice. The surroundings felt a little unsafe. The room was clean but looked a lot nicer on the picture. Did not really feel like it merited the amount I paid for it. The surroundings felt a little unsafe. It was also a little to see the hotel from the road.

Well it's not a 5 star hotel, but the service is certainly top notch for being what it is. I was quite surprised. The free breakfast was nice. homemade waffles, bagels, muffins, hard boiled eggs. Can't beat free! Room was kept up, nothing bad to report. I was just over all surprised of the quality vs the price. highly recommended! Free wireless LOCATION is perfect!!!! 10 min from aquarium 8 min from the zoo

Hotel was centrally located to a variety of neighborhoods and shopping. My husband and I were in Dallas for 3 days for a wedding. Since we didn't have much time to sight see, we took advantage of what was around us. The 75 expressway serves both the north and south areas of Dallas so travel was convenient. It was built below ground, so there wasn't any noise problems. Did not care for their complementary breakfast, but the Buzzbrew restaurant across from the hotel office is fantastic. It is reasonable, the coffee is good and the food is fresh. And it is open 24/7. This hotel was convenient to the nice areas of Uptown, Highland Park, Downtown, Cityplace, but it is alos close to a transitional neighborhood that is getting revitalized, but there are parts that are runned down. The room was clean everyday, except we found one cockroach as we were leaving the room from our short stay and we did not have food. Also, Dallas was having a heatwave in the 100's and we could not get the room cool enough, even when the hotel set the thermostat to 65 degrees. We could have spent more for a fancier hotel, but chose this one for the convenience and price.

The sheets actually stayed on the bed! My car kept scraping the speed bump at the entrance. My stay was ruined by other visitors just outside my door partying and carrying on, even knocking on my door. After I called the office, the noise settled a bit and I was able to fall asleep (after 1 am) Then the security guard knocked and woke me up! When I tried to ignore the awakening, the office then called to make sure I was asleep - I was! How annoying!

My friend and I met in Dallas to have a girls weekend. She lives in Arkansas and I live in Houston so this was pretty much a middle meeting point. I was a little skeptical of the hotel-motel (cause it has outside entrances) but I was assured by the front desk staff that this was a good area and that there was on site security should something happen. The hotel is in a great location-very close to the mall, shopping centers and eating places (i recommend Fadi's). She wasnt lying about the security either-sure enough he was there patrolling when we came in that night. The only drawback I would say about the motel would be the parking lot. It fills up fast and parking is tight too. Also we heard sirens just about every night. They werent coming here, but they could still be heard. Plus of the motel include -soft towels -good wifi -semi comfy beds -good/ok breakfast (its hot so I cant complain) -fridge/microwave in the room -walls are sound -good shower w/adjustable head -close to DART station, so you dont have to drive your car around the city I must say overall our stay was really good. I got the room at a good price ($** reg price $**)couldn't ask for a better deal!!

The front desk staff were very hospitable. We did not use room service. There could be more variety on the Continental Breakfast offered, but there is an excellent Mexican restuarant just across from the front desk, where the food, service and staff offered excellent customer service. We did not use the pool service, but used the exercise equipment which was adequate for a short stay. For a rated two star hotel, it was excellent. The metro train station is a huge block away in terms of walking distance. So there are affordable alternatives if you do not have your own transport to get around the City.

The hotel was nice. The neighborhood could be somewhat sketchy to the east, but I did not have any problems while on the hotel grounds. I did ask the front desk for car rental information. They gave me a few options & I rented from Budget, since they agreed to pick me up from the hotel. When dropping off the car though, they refused to take me back to the hotel which left me stranded in a very rough section of town. Now back to the hotel... Continental breakfast was good. They ran out of orange juice two mornings, & they could have had more cereal & fruit options (they only had red apples). They also had no wheat bread, but the waffles were good. They also had bagels & oatmeal packets. The pool was very nice. Very clean & well maintained. Open all day long & I had the pool to myself each time I swam. The walk to the light rail system (subway) was only about 10 minutes. The light rail system took me into downtown Dallas very quickly. The room was nice & had a very comfortable bed, good water pressure in shower & a good selection of tv channels.

The bathrooms were well appointed. It was inexpensive for my daughter's graduation from SMU. The room's air conditioner filtration system reeked with an unbearable stale cigarette smell and was in dire need of professional cleaning. The stench of room AC filtration was so overwhelming we had to turn off the AC which made the room very warm.

This was a great value for my money. Nice hotel with close proximity to downtown Dallas and 8 minutes from American Airline Center. I would definately book again. The staff was great and was very inviting and helpful. I recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a decent price for a nice hotel. The bathroom was very nice for a hotel in this price range. The only thing I didn't like was the limited cable.

The rooms were well updated and had all of the amenities I was looking for. I couldn't get the wireless internet to work, so I went to ask the quiet guy at the front desk that checked me in if they were having problems with the connection and he could have just said no and I would have left, but he gave me the cord to connect directly to the wall, so that was appreciated. The room was comfortable and everything worked fine. The negative thing was that the doors faced the parking lot (like a motel), so when some guy stood at the railing and yelled down to someone in the parking lot at 3am to find out if he was a cop before he'd let him in his room, I heard it. The AC was loud enough to drown most of the parking lot noise out, though. Breakfast was your standard continental stuff. No frills, but a good place. I'd go back, so that's saying something!

This place was adequate for what you pay. It is conveniently right off of the freeway (75) so you are able to get to where you need to go without to much fuss. A cafe that is open 24 hrs is located right beside the hotel so if you are lazy, good food is right there.

The Cityplace area is fantastic if you want to be just a cheap cab ride away from Lower Greenville, Downtown, Uptown or the nightlife in the gayborhood. Really, I mean cheapcheap cab fares (like Service was prompt and efficient. My room was clean and comfortable. The wireless internet was up and running. There was a TV w/cable, mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave and safe in the room - all in good working order. It is a great place to stay for the price. I will certainly go back.

I stayed here last spring break and it was fine. We drove to Dallas and used the light rail to get to downtown. We were located in a good position and it saved us money from having to stay at a big, expensive, hotel downtown. We were literally minutes away anyhow so there was no point staying downtown. The rooms were average, clean, basic rooms--I wasn't expecting a luxurious hotel so I wasn't disappointed. If you want 5 star ratings you'll have to pay for it. If you're like me and just want a clean, decent hotel this is a good choice.

Very clean. Parking lot was small and hard to drive through. The hotel was easy to find, and close to many local attractions. The room was nice, and had a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. We had a nice quiet stay. The 24 hour restaurant on site was very neat, with great food!
