Our 'non-smoking' room smelled like old cigarettes. Even the sheets smelled like it, as my pajamas still stink of the cigarettes. Our room was right next to the housekeeping room, so all morning long we heard the carts roll by our room, non stop. All the doors to the hotel face out to their parking lot like a motel. We found hair in our 'clean' towels. Felt disgusting the whole time I was in the room. The location is in a dirty part of town. Would not recommend to anyone.

Very good location, in the middle of chula vista, 3 blocks high way 5, very clean, comfortable, refrigerator, micro wave, A/C, free parking, and complementary continental breakfast .

I did not feel safe at all in this hotel. Lots of shady people in the area and in the hotel.The room smelled really bad and had the worst/rudest reception service. It's cheap... and I found the reason why.

Quiet and clean. We really used the room for sleep and showering. We stayed 6 nights. Very friendly. Breakfast was OK in the morning. Good place for the money.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. We found nice places to eat near by. It was quit and comfortable. The only problem we had was we wouldn't get clean towels and had to hunt a cleaning lady down twice. I would go back though.

This hotel is generally clean and spacious for my wife and I and the amenities are all there including microwave, refrigerator, a coffee maker, and free wireless internet but I find their wireless internet very slow and did not bother to use their internet at all. Aside from that, the electrical plug for the hair dryer is not working so we were not able to use it during our stay in the hotel. The location is alright although we find this too far from Downtown San Diego but we manage to go to Downtown San Diego earlier than we expected and able to see the Parade for St. Patricks's Day. All in all, our stay in this hotel is very good.

The staff was very helpful with directions and recommended eating establishments. The room was clean. We had asked for a quiet room so were placed on the third floor with empty rooms on both sides. The staff was very accomodating. The hotel is getting a little old and is not in the best neighborhood but still upkeep and cleanliness is good. Iron, hairdryer, etc. all in working order. It was very convenient to have a refrigerator in the room. Good value for the price.

What impressed about Best Western is their cleanliness and courteous staff. The only hotel that i know of that uses mattress protector.
