I was very pleased with my stay except for two items. One was the noise created by the 'peep shows at all hours of the night. Second was the fact that I was only able to access the internet one time from my room and never again.

It was in a good location close to shopping and entertainment. Sofa bed in suite was quite uncomfortable needed new mattress.

Its close to Yaletown but is located on the unsafe Granville Street where there are many vagrants and homeless on the street.

Staff. Street noise late at night.. Hotel was clean, centrally located, staff was friendly and accommodating. However, location near two busy youth hostels made for very loud partying noise till 3:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights, complete with police cars and sirens. Staff reported that this is a frequent occurrence. Otherwise, I'd stay there again.

"Our room was moldy, it smelled and had BED BUGS. Imagine waking up with bites all over you..... STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE"

The hotel restaurant food was terrible, staff was nice though. Overall, a nice place and location, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Just avoid the hotel restaurant! There are lots of great restaurants in the area though.

"I felt that we were misled about the hotel. We thought by the pictures it was closer to the water and in a better section. The hotel was clean and big, but there were a lot of young homeless people hanging around the outside of the hotel. It was very sad and upsetting."

Very convenient location. The staff was all very helpful. Some locals said the hotel had a bad rep for partiers, but it was very quiet for us. I wish they had some form of breakfast that would start before 7am. We had two different rooms for the 5 of us. We found the hotel to be very convenient, safe and clean. The staff was very accommodating. We were able to store our luggage while sightseeing in Whistler, before moving on to Victoria. We had to catch our transportation to Whistler at 7am, so we were not able to eat breakfast at the hotel before leaving. It would be great if they had even a light breakfast available at 6 or 6:30.

"We generally enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We used it for the night before our curies to Alaska and it definitely answered our needs, including ability to watch the world soccer cap during breakfast? The hotel has a great location ? need to just walk outside the hotel for shopping. The only minus was that we had to walk to the back building (courtyard ) through a back street which was a bit hassle (maybe this is the only location with 2 queen beds?). Good service. "

Location downtown. $12.00 per day parking fee. Irritating and unexpected. They need to make sure that the guests who rent vehicles know that there is an additional $12.00 per day parking fee. We had non-smoking room that the previous occupants had smoked in a lot. On the third day (of 8) the maid finally brought in an air cleaner (ionizer) to help clear the room's odor. It was very bad.

"This was the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. We hardly slept at all during our 1 night stay. We were on the 15th floor, but we may as well have been sleeping on the sidewalk! We could hear conversations (shouting) from the street below all night"

The friendly staff. The beds are very uncomfortable, too noisy, the food and service in the lounge very low quality.

Close to the cruise port. Location was not good for children having an adult video store across the street, tattoo parlors not a good location for families. The taxi service from the hotel sent really rude drivers we were not happy with them. Walking at night was a bit scary as we didn't know the area; I would not stay there again.

Rooms were large and clean, staff very helpful and friendly. Tough to walk up three flights of stairs with 50lb suitcases. The hotel rooms were clean, staff was very friendly, and the room was quiet. Central location, walking distance to everything for those who like to walk. Overall, it was tough to beat for the price and location.
