Reception staff were very rudeI could not satisfy about anything, what I have experienced in this hotel. First the room was on an offer, which was £252 worth room I got it for £99, I thought the room must be a good quality room, but once I goto the hotel they have checked me in for a very low quality standard double room, their excuse was Im only paying £99. Why they have given me faulse information at first place then, as a customer I had a high expectation about the room , but the room I got was not worth more than £65, wall papers were decayed, tv not working, after even I let know reception, they did not even fix it, above all very bad and rude customer service. I do not recommend for nyone to go there.

Fantastic location for Underground access and walking. No A/C. This hotel was chosen as a basic short-stay, inexpensive lodging within the heart of London. Weather was hot (and gorgeous - unlike London) and the lack of A/C was somewhat of a concern. Sleeping accommodation was fine and access to the Underground was within a block - major station (Earls Cross) with very easy access to all of London. Heathrow airport is a brief tube ride, which only costs about 3.5 Pounds - couldn't be better! Consider eating somewhere else if you enjoy food (many places within a stone's throw). Fine for what it was - basic, clean lodging with en suite bathroom.

Perfect for a one night business stop over in London. Would also be good for longer stays as well. Easily placed for transport connections. Smallish room (had booked single) but felt spacious and was to high standards of cleanliness making the stay all that more comfortable.

Although the room was fairly basic, everything appeared clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Free wifi was excellent. The continental breakfast included in the price was really good and, again, the staff were very friendly. The location was fantastic as the hotel was literally a couple of minutes from the underground. Overall, good value for money and a good choice if you're after a good base for your trip and you don't mind a basic room.

A cruise ship room, approx.8 feet by 15, trouble flushing toilet, too close to Heathrow glide path noise, if we opened the window -too much street noise, NO A/C, carpet covered creaky wood floor-too noisy

Not bad - a little small though.

Location! Shabbiness. It was decent enough for our purposes. The location was excellent, and the shower and bathroom was really nice for a European hotel. The room itself was pretty shabby, but seemed clean (and I checked for bed bugs and there weren't any). Its location was so incredible that it made up for the rest of the flaws. Wouldn't recommend it for a long stay, but for our short stay it met our needs.

Most important, a very comfortable bed. Clean rooms with space. The reception staff were excellent although some of the breakfast staff were not as helpful as you would expect. Yes i would go again

Very close to Earl's Court Tube station. Safe area, room was small but very clean. Steam pipes banging woke me up at 4 a.m. Lots of dining nearby"

This was my return visit. A colleague booked in too, on my recommendation

The bathroom was spa like. Bright halogen lighting, modern bath features in a Victorian era setting. The restaurant needs to be renovated. It's unappealing and cold. Food is ok. This is a quaint, Victorian hotel. The room was beautifully decorated with a very comfortable double bed. The bathroom was large and included a claw footed tub with shower. All modern conveniences including a hair dryer and electric kettle with tea, coffee and hot chocolate. TV with cable, phone, desk and pants press. Continental breakfast was fine. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location, close to subway, grocery store, pubs. Very quiet at night. Would stay here again.

Short walking distance from Earl's Court tube station. Rooms are a bit small, but for the location and price, can't complain. The only thing I dislike is the check-out, which was at 11am.

Friendly small hotel located close to Earls Court tube station but in a quiet street. Rooms small but comfortable, typical of small London hotels. Good atmosphere in residents' bar. Breakfast was continental but more than adequate. Would use this hotel again.

paint peeling off ceiling, water damage.close to Earls Court tube, nice breakfast included

Catering staff had no idea about special diets, particularly Gluten free diet.Couldnt advise whether the breakfast items...ie sausages/baked beans/hashbrowns suitable for me. I brought my own bread. Couldnt leave my loaf in the kitchen fridge as there was risk of it being disposed of...No ingredients list on bar food menu. Coeliac isnt a faddy diet or life style choice, its a necessity..on medical groundsIt isnt difficult to live as a Coeliac...there are 650,000 of us in UK, and a lot of spending power. The entire Best Western group...not just the Burns Hotel needs teaching about Gluten free living...and I would be happy to advise.

Seminar TripGot a small pokey room so didnt enjoy my stay luckily only had to sleep there. Bar was cosy though so not all bad. I am sure there are better rooms just unlucky but couldnt be bothered to ask to be moved as it was only a business trip.

Ask for an upgrade and if they are spare they will try and do it. I got upgraded but I dread to think what the standard rooms are like. My stay was good - perfect for Earls Court tube and the pubs around it. I would stay here again as I had a quiet room which is hard to get near Earls Court and the Railway!

Hotel was in an ideal location. It was good value for money in comparison to other hotels. The room was a little on the small size but I expect this in London, and Im sure if it was double the size it would be double the money. The hotel needs to vastly improve on their breakfast offerings and service, a buffet style cooked breakfast would be a lot better.
