By accident, we were booked twice for the same room, but did not know until we checked in. After $40.00 in international phone charges, either Orbits or Best Western would give us a refund for the extra booking. We will not stay at Best Western nor book through Orbits again.

Hotel was just outside of Belize City. Not far from airport or city. Taxi's are out front. If you and you have to call make sure you leave yourself plenty of time. In walking distance is a supermarket. Also inside they can help you book a tour which is greatttt!!

The BW Belize Biltmore Plaza is 7 miles from the airport and 3 miles from downtown Belize City. The country is rich in archaeological ruins and in warm, friendly people.

The Best Western Biltmore was not what we expected. This is definitely not the standards that we were accustomed to when staying at a Best Western. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. They were working in an establishment that definitely needs some upgrades. The hotel is on the main road from the airport which makes it easy for transportation. The towels were old. It is definitely time for a new set of towels. There were times when we had to wait until the maid washed towels in order to get extra towels. The beds were hard. The bathroom plumbing needed to be updated. The water pressure in the shower was not maintained. Sometimes, the hot water disappeared and you were taking a cold shower. Even though we reported that the toilet was leaking, no one ever came to fix it. There was no entertainment and the poolside bar was only open for a limited time during two of our six days. The fitness center was small with a limited number of machines and free weights.

I was very pleased with the hotel itself. It was clean and pool and restaurant were fine. However, it was not conveniently located and you needed to take a taxi everywhere. The staff was helpful in planning trips such as, cave tubing, zip lining and Mayan ruin exploration.

The Best Western Belize Biltmore Plaza Hotel is a decent location for the business traveler (or anyone who needs to be in Belize City); however, Belize City itself is not a particularly desirable place. Unless your business demands your presence in Belize City, I'd recommend spending your time in almost anywhere else in this otherwise interesting country. This hotel is not in the center of town, but on the highway to the airport - walking anywhere from the hotel is not a great idea. The hotel does have all of the ammenities a business traveler could need.

Back at the Biltmore Best Western, I would get to my room, with the air already on, and it felt real nice. The pool area was very warm and inviting as well as sunny. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made me and my family laugh. Yes indeed I will be returning to the Biltmore Best Western, in Belize.

The bathroom needs to be updated with faucets and shower heads. The water went from boiling hot to freezing cold every 5 seconds while showering.. The beds are vey old and not so comfortable. On the sides they are rusty. We constantly had to ask for towels. They only provided 2 but there were 4 of us in the room. The remote was not int he room and it was not until day 6 did i realize I had to call front desk to ask for the use of the remote. The front lobby looks clean and welcoming but when you actally go to sit down on the wicker chairs, the fabric was dirty. The breakfast buffet was old at times and they had very little variety. After a while you do not want the same thing everyday.
