The courtesy people were all very friendly and helpful to all the guests there. They helped one other guest who was lost find the hotel. They called cabs and helped to tell you where some of the best places to experience things were at. The pool and jacuzzi were both relaxing and the breakfast was good. I would definately stay here again, even though it is in a bad part of town, We still felt safe.

The hotel and staff were great and have no complaints.

We were in town for the Marathon / Half-marathon on November 16. The location was convenient for us. We walk a lot for exercise so we walked to all locations we visited downtown. They were doing a lot of painting outside and some inside the hotel while we were there. The pool was not accessible for part of our trip since they were doing flooring in the access area to the pool. Overall, we were pleased with the accomadations.

I was disappointed in how dirty the bathrooms were. Even after housekeeping came in they were never cleaned. We found the toiiet very dirty. We pulled out a nightstand to plug in something and we found a lot of trash. The trash cans in our room were sticky on the bottom and had junk stuck to them. The floors were so dirty that when I sat on them with light colored pants on, my pants turned black. The pool could have used a good cleaning also. The beds were comfortable and we loved the breakfast buffet. We also enjoyed the free internet service. We would not stay here again.

The room was very nice. Things seem a bit older, but it was comfortable enough and had amenities in the room that I haven't had in more expensive hotels.

The staff was pleasant, the rooms were nice, it was quiet. The fitness center equipment needed servicing. This hotel was great for the money. The location looked a bit sketchy, but it was quiet and appeared to have excellent security. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff was very friendly, late check in's are guaranteed...... Facility was very clean, rooms were clean as well. Housekeeping is trustworthy. Good location from downtown....Overall it was great... I will definitely stay at this hotel again..... The parking lot located in the back has security cameras, and only people that have a card room can enter the building from the back door.

Our room was fabulous. Two KING beds plus a pull out couch, full size fridge and a balcony. Too bad there was no view from the balcony. At first appearance, it looks like a shady neighborhood because there are a number of empty or boarded up buildings in the neighborhood. This doesn't make for much of a view, but it appeared to me that this WAS a bad neighborhood, but not now. There are signs of building and growth all around and I think the neighborhood has turned. We walked down to the Shell station (at night) to purchase snacks etc. & had no trouble whatsoever. While on the balcony one morning I saw an elderly woman working in her manicured back yard next door and chatted with her. She was very nice and corroborated that the neighborhood was safe. Several reviews mention that the trolley stop is nearby. This depends on your definition of nearby. It's a pretty long hike, did us good though. I would say it's just shy of half a mile. I timed it, I walk at a fairly brisk pace and it was an 8 minute walk. There are a number of hotels closer to the stop, two Marriotts, La Quinta, Two Holiday Inns and the hotel right in front of the stop was .... I forget. If your room is important to you, stick with the Comfort. I'm certain none of the others will have rooms nearly as nice as the Comfort, especially for the price. If all you want is a place to hang your hat and you want to be closer to the trolley stop, choose one of the others. As I mentioned, we found the walk invigorating and I would definately stay at the Comfort upon return.

Not the best location for San Antonio if you are planning to visit the Riverwalk.

The hotel was neat, clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. This hotel was nice, and not bad location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and would stay again.

This hotel is located in the outskirts of the city. It is not really possible to use the trolleys to get into Riverwalk, as the walk is too far to the stops. This means that you have to pay for parking, around $10.00, every time you want to go into the city. The breakfast buffet was pretty good for a hotel & attended to very well. The front desk was very friendly & helpful. The beds are a little too hard for my liking. The pool was way too cold to use. The hotel was very quiet, air conditioning worked well & was quiet.

STAFF IS GREAT. ROOMS ARE EXCELLENT. SWIMMING POOL WAS 90 DEGREES, HOTTUBWAS 106. BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD. iT IS RIGHT NEXT TO 1-35, BUT ROOMS ARE VERY QUIET. I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN. EASY ACCESS TO DOWNTOWN.

Nice rooms. No complaints. Nice rooms, good prices compared to others just a few blocks away.

This hotel is in a bad neighborhood, so watch out.The hotel itself is very nice once inside. They have a business center with access to the internet and printers for free! They have an indoor pool that is small but clean. Our room was very nice. We had a King bed with a full size fridge, sink and microwave. Staff was friendly. We would stay again if we had to. We don't ever plan on visiting San Antonio in this lifetime. The hotel was not close to any attractions, it is NOT downtown. So if you want to visit the Alamo, stay somewhere else.

The staff was nice, however trying to get to this hotel was kind of difficult. There was no shower curtain for the shower!

The staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The staff were some of the most helpful and courteous people I have ever worked with. They knew the town and gave great directions to local restaurants, etc. Bedroom, bath were clean and well maintained.
