I was at the end of a once in a lifetime vacation in Australia and wanted to be near the airport and safe a little money. This BW met those needs and was all of the other fine qualities I have described. The staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful to a weary traveler. Wonderful end to a wonderful trip!

The shuttle bus to the airport was convenient and the driver was very nice.

An average motel close (5 mins) to the airport. Nothing fancy, but clean and affordable. Only problem we had was that the internet service in the motel was very poor. Restaurant in the motel was quite expensive & had a limited menu, however, there were several other great restaurants a few minutes down the road. If you're looking for a reasonably priced motel that is clean, with not too many extras, this is the place.

This is a pretty bare bones motel located close to the airport. It seems overpriced for the quality of accomodations. Rooms have outside entrances, and there's no direct dial from your room to the front desk which means you have to walk outside (and it was raining while I was there) if you need anything. No deadbolts on the doors either. The furnishings in the room seemed clean but were very minimal, and parts of the bathroom were in disrepair. I didn't try the restaurant, but it was empty during my stay. Internet access cost extra, and the service was spotty and terribly slow. Hotel staff was friendly enough, but they didn't send someone by as promised to check the heater in my room when I walked over to complain about it. Luckily I figured out what the problem was on my own. The best part of my stay was the free ride to the airport. And the fact that I only had to stay one night!

The hotel is very convenient to the airport which is great when taking early morning flights. Check-in and check-out were fast and the staff helpful and courteous.

they didnt serve cocktails on a friday night at the bar/lounge, i thought it a bit odd, limited room service menu, (didnt end up ordering anything), also the location was a bit too far from the city

We were most impressed with the Best Western Airport Motel & Convention Centre Melbourne. The service was impeccable , picking us up from the airport in the early hours of the morning and offering any manner of assistance. Very pleasant staff - extremely accommodating.

Excellent hotel which provides free shuttle to and from airport and a store your car option when travelling overseas which is a real bonus!! However does not accept Aust Dollars travellers cheques which is very odd for such an international great hotel providing otherwise excellent service.

The provision of a free shuttle bus to both the local railway station and the airport was extremely useful and the advice given by the various shuttle drivers was extremely useful and frequently of better quality than that of the reception staff. Breakfasts were the most expensive that we encountered but what was provided was extremely generous.

The Airport Bus was very helpful, and my wife had forgotten her address book and they kindly took me back to get it from the Airport to the Motel and back to the Motel Later. She was very grateful and appreciated the service.

Location great for the airport, we stayed here as we had an early flight out of Melbourne. There was a free shuttle service, which departed at the time requested and got us to the airport quickly. Staff were friendly and offered a wake up call.
