my experience was not a good one, I were to have a non-smoking room, but when you entered the room you could clearly smell the smoke in the room, there were no security latches on the door. I did not stay at this hotel after all that I'd encountered. I would never use orbitz again for my traveling needs.

Nothing. It was filthy, run down, and not located in a very good area. This was the worst hotel in which I have ever stayed. The smoke detector was ripped off the wall. The toilet was dirty. There was something disgusting on the shower curtain. When I went out to get a cold drink there were no machines where it stated soda. The only drink machine was up by the office. I would not even allow my children to take baths before we left the next morning.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this property in April of 2009. This property is in a somewhat not nice area of Jackson. There is a bus stop in front of the property. There is Razor Wire along the back side of the building on the fence. There was an empty bottle of Mad Dog in the parking lot when we checked in, and it was still there the morning we checked out. The towels were from a Hampton inn. The furniture was stained, the carpets were stained, the toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall. We could smell cigarette smoke coming in through a vent from the room above us. We checked out at 8:30-9:00 and I did not see anything that resembled a free breakfast, not that I would have felt confident eating it. We're in our Mid Twenties, Early 30's. Not snobs by any means. I would not stay in this hotel ever again. The pictures posted are not truly representative of this property. They look like they were taken 5 or 6 years ago, and the property has seen better days. This property offers weekly and monthly rates. But apparently according to their paperwork taped to the counter does not allow children or pets. I don't stay at hotel/motel's that offer apartment rates. The staff was very friendly, but that's the only good thing about this property.

My family and I stayed at this hotel on our way back home from our family trip. We only stayed the one night but my husband and I found the accommodations to be satisfactory. We'd stay again with the family if we were passing back through.

it was not clean. I found out that it is a adult hotel, if you get my point. I will not stay there again. ohh I can't forget the wet carpet and it smelled bad. plus there was dead cockroaches on the floor. the only thing I like about it was that it was cheap and outside my room was a bird bath.

The stay was nice for what it was nice. when you pull up to the entrance there is a bar that makes it quite scary looking very quiet

Dirty,took advantage of hurricane. This is not a good hotel. The staff was somewhat friendly but it is not worth the money. We were dissappointed just driving up to the place.

The Best Value in Jackson, MS was a great disappoint and not a great value at all. The neighborhood its located in was very rundown. My boyfriend didn't feel comfortable leaving me there alone after dark. There were signs posted everywhere telling loiters they would be arrested. The walls are paper thin and you could hear conversations from other rooms. Someone called the room twice, at 4am in the morning asking to speak to someone who wasn't in the room. People in the other room talked and made noise all night. I ended up checking out at 7:30 am because I just wanted to get out of there and I wasn't able to sleep anyways. I will never stay at a Best Value ever again.

There was nothing I liked. I can say it was quite at night so I slept ok. I disliked everything. The first night found a roach in my bed. The rooms smelled old and the air conditioner leaked the whole time I was there. They say they have free internet and they charge you $5.00 for the wire.

The staff was very courteous and friendly. Not great for a female traveling. Motel was full of suspicious characters. owners/operators very lovely people. Room clean and nice.
