On this trip *I stayed at eleven diffrent hotels. The Dnipro was the most over priced even at the reduced rate and was like something out the l920s. Would not stay there again.

Ideal Location! Shabby, run-down rooms. Hotel Dnipro was located in the best spot in Kiev - you can't beat the location! The rooms were shabby and run-down; however, very clean. The rest of the hotel and dining rooms are attractive. I would stay here again, based on the fantastic location.

This property was due for serious renovation, 25 years ago.Hotels in Kiev are generally very over priced due to lack of competition and high occupancy rates.The location of this hotel is excellent but its so old, dated and worn. Seating in the lobby coffee shop is extremely uncomfortable and the hotel just feels very dated and worn out.The staff are very nice and sweet and they are very helpful. Internet access is expensive.Expect a worn out, hotel which if it was in Western Europe or Asis would have been totally renovated 25 to 30 years ago.

Attractively appointed, efficient and friendly staff and a perception of quality at all times. The stay was great but if I was going to really nitpick I would have liked a little bigger bathroom. Excellent in every respect.
