I didn't like the fact that I couldn't go onto the balcony because the sliding door wouldn't work. I also didn't like that you had to pay extra for parking daily when you check in. I would understand if there was security to protect my car but there wasn't. The shower didn't work by the beach so we couldn't wash off the sand. The breakfast wasn't allowed to leave the "kitchen" so you could take it to your room.

Just the fact that it was on the beach was cool. Kitchen floor was dirty, carpets and the walls had holes. Kitchen was filthy not to mention the hole tore out in room. The bed had over fifteen fleas that we could count and there was no way to get them all out. We had a small child with us so that was not cool. Floors over all were nasty. Carpet really needs to be changed out, cleaning would not fix what is bad. The outside of the building was missing structure around the patio's up top on other floors. it needs a serious make over. Blow dryer didn't work.

I would not advise anyone to stay here! That is unless you feel like throwing away all of the belongings you happen to take along with you, as that is what we have been advised of doing after staying there one night so as to not infest my home with bed bugs. My mother got so upset when she found the bed bugs in both her bed and the bed of my 3 yr old nephew that I thought she might have a heart attack. The rooms have not been renovated, are old, are not clean (found hair still in our bath tub), and generally in a filthy state. An employee also told me that the hotel had had prior bed bug infestations before and that rather than addressing it immediately and confining the infestation to a single room, they did not treat the room for at least two weeks.

I was very happy when I drove up to the location of the Bermuda House, the location was awesome. As soon as I went to check in at 3 oclock, the check in time, my room was not ready!!! They asked me to return in 30 min's. We returned to be placed in someone elses room, how embarassing was that!! Finally we got that all figured out and we walked up to our room....the halls were very warm, people were fussing everywhere about the air. I was very happy to see that our room was cold and somewhat well kept!!( unlike the rest of the motel.) We actually used the pool alot and enjoyed the fact we could use there sister motel next door, it was much better maintained!! The price was right, but thats about it!!

Nothing I would never return there. It took 6 rooms to get us three that were in half way descent shape.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel on my recent Daytona vacation. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Eli and April at the Tiki bar were wonderful. My only complaint would be the elevator closest to our room was down and the hottub. However we were allowed to use the pools and hottubs at the LaPlaya Resort next door. I look forward to going back again. The veiw was awesome. I had oceanfront from my balcony and a pool view from my front door. I recommend this hotel.

The room smelled. There was mold growing all over the bathroom shower. I wouldn't let my family even use it. The pool is small and the atmosphere is awful. We had a poolside room and couldnt even open the slider to go out there cause it wouldnt open. The location is right across from a terrific Publix and dining.

Well... the pictures on the internet looked good, the price was right, but once we checked in, it all went downhill! Should have known when there weren't that many cars in the parking lot. Front desk clerk gives me keys to the room on the 5th floor and tells me the elevator was broken. We thought we would go take a look at the room before we hauled the luggage up 5 flights of stairs, thank goodness we did, opened the door and there are people in the room watching TV. They had put us in someone elses room. We went down and were assigned another room with no apology. Get to the next room and it is just plain nasty, the sliding glass door would not shut all of the way and you could not lock it. The place was just nasty. The clerk had told us that the pool was broken and he wasn't sure when they were going to fix it. After walking the halls and seeing all of the fire extinguisher glass broken and just how worn down this place is, I have no idea how it could be granted any stars at all and would definitely never stay here, especially if you have young children. When we informed the clerk that we were not going to stay, he informed us that there are no housekeepers on staff or maintenance workers. He understood our concern and refunded the charges. We found a much nicer place right down the street for more per night, but trust me, money very well spent!!!

We were put in rooms that had not been cleaned---the sinks, toilets, floor and bedding were dirty. When we went back down to the desk to ask for service, we were given towels and cleaning supplies. The only service we received during our stay were clean towels. The carpet was very dirty and embedded with sand. The vanity was hanging by the hinges and very dirty. The patio doors were so dirty that we could not see through the glass and green mold covered the balcony. Would not want anyone else to pay what we did for this sad experience.

Pet friendly. Needs to be remodeled. Friendly staff, room was clean for the most part, they need to remodel rooms.

The place is great if you don't mind smashed bugs on the wall, non-working refrigerators, dirty windows, non-working internet, leaky faucets and non-working elevators. The staff is very nice. I see the problem as ownership or upper management.

Nice pool area. Front desk person was very robotic. Rooms were okay. Our microwave didn't work and had no utensils for cooking. All hallways and public areas were very hot, like they had no air conditioning, this applies to the elevator too!

We stayed towards the end of "Biker's Week", and the start of "Spring Break". The room size was decent, and it was a nice view of the ocean. I was disgusted with some of the cleanliness of the hotel, especially regarding the bathroom. On arrival the bathroom floor was flooded with strands of hairs (both kinds). The back of the toilet looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in a while either. We had a ground level room, and the grass leading to our patio was like a dumpster. It was scattered with cigarette butts, beer cans, and who knows what else. What killed me the most about this hotel was how they tried to nickel and dime us. 5 a day for parking, and an additional 10 to use to room safe, which we never used. They charge you regardless if you use it or not, but if you tell them you did not use it they'll remove the charge (they did in our case) If you stay her make sure you get them to print out a reciept with a break down of charges, they're sneaky.

The only complaint I would have is that the pool was not to my expectations. First my five year old daughter could not touch in the three foor area due to the pool being overfilled. They also tell you that it is a heated pool well we froze the whole time we were in it. Another thing is that it is on the road side of the hotel so the sun does not hit it until the late afternoon so it is very cold water. The room was great and was what i expected.

The view from the balcony was pretty. The room was falling apart in several areas. The view of the ocean and beach was nice. The rooms need some repair and TLC. Our toilet would not even flush all the time. Places around the walls were cracking and falling apart.

A rack to hang our clothes was made for us as we were in the room. The Air and Heat until was replaced as soon as we checked into the room because of a loud noise.. There was no top sheat on the bed, which they did bring and placed on top of the bed for us to make. Two of the five nights we stayed only the beds were made not even the sinks cleaned out. We paid for a Oceanview room and was given a pool side room. We were told that because we booked thru Travel website that is what we are getting nothing else was left. I had booked with American Express who did give us the difference in the room rate since the Bermuda House would not refund anything. I had complained to the manager while we were still at the hotel who took off the $5.00 a night parking fee. With it being Daytona 500 weekend and no other hotels available we were forced to stay there, but never again.

some remodeling had been done but still not very well looking. the beds were comfortable. had a broken tile in the foyer that had a sharp edge. the door was hard to shut had to slam numerous times. the only great thing was the pool very large. the elevator by the pool was out of order all weekend. i just glad i didnt pay more. by the way they charge for parking!

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice. The water faucets in the room did not work well; hard to turn off and would drip or leak. The overall experience was good, but was surprised by the $5 a night parking fee.
