It was built on a hill in 1930 and originally a mountain hotel for the upper class. Since 1951 it has been property of the Blauel Family. The hotel restaurant has been mentioned in leading restaurant guides for many years now. It is well-known for traditional Austrian dishes and for regional specialties which may vary according to the season.
