What a find! Absolutely lovely place. It's so spotlessly clean, great food,friendly. Fab decor. We'll definitely be back. Don't want to say more in case it gets too popular and we can't book in next time.

Fantastic placeThis is one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. It is lovely decorated and the owners were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. They could not do anything more for us. Fabulous breakfast every morning which they would do all they could to give you exactly what you want. We will defiantly be going back, would highly recommend!!

All round excelent We found this B & B to be faultless from the moment we were greeted with a hand shake to the time we sadly said goodbye The room and bathroom were excellent and spotless as was all areas The breakfast was also excellent with a very large choice We would not hesitate to recommend you stay there and to return ourselves if ever we are in the area

A little Gem on the English RivieraThe circumstances of the trip for my parents and I were not very pleasant as we were in Torquay for a funeral but James and the team at Bentley were fantastic and we were sorry we were only staying 1 night. The place is very tastefully decorated, is spottlessly clean and both our rooms were very nice and spacious. Very friendly staff and breakfast was good. Torquay can be hilly but the road from Bentley Lodge to the sea front is flat and was no issue to my parents in their 80's. It was about 20 minutes walk for them and was very pleasant going by the Abbey. Great value for money. They have made a terrific effort of getting everything just right at the guest house in the 5 years they have owned it. The garden is stunning and in summer it will be lovely to sit out there. If you are prepared to walk 20 mins to the front (taxi back £5) there is no reason not to stay here. It is almost perfect. Thank you James

How staying away should beI was impressed by the thoroughness and attention to detail that went into making the room, food and my stay at Bentley Lodge so enjoyable. Staying away on business is usually an unpleasant necessity but Bentley Lodge was a pleasure.

The hotel extended an excellent welcome upon arrival. The food was well prepared and served. The hotel has a beautiful garden that is open for residents to enjoy. All in all, a very good choice for your stay in Torquay.

This hotel was a well run beautifully clean establishment. We were greeted on arrival by the proprieter, a lovely friendly guy, who told us where we could find the local amenities. The hotel itself was in a great location just a short journey from the centre. The room was well presented and pristine. Brilliant value for money, deserving of its stars and a credit to the owners. We will certainly be returning to Bentley Lodge.

Prior to arriving at Bentley Lodge I phoned ahead to check the facilities in our room, I was very impressed that the host knew exactly where we were travelling from and provided all of the information I required. Bentley Lodge was extremely easy to find, we were 20 minute stroll from the centre of Torquay and only 3 miles from Paignton. Our room was immaculate, the decor was very modern and everywhere was very clean. Breakfast was excellent, a huge variety to choose from and the hosts were both friendly but discrete, even recommending a local restaurants. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night, and i would reccomend it to all my friends. The rooms were spotlessly clean. There were little toiletries in the bathroom and even a little sewing kit in the drawer for emergencies. The food at breakfast was first class, and the owner did'nt mind running back and forth for any requests. Overall a brilliant hotel. Well worth a stay. I will certainly go back there when i'm next in Torquay. Give it a try, you'll be impressed. I WAS.

Had A great stay, Hotel was easy to find and was walking distance to the town and seafront. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the food was very good. not a bad word can be said. Would advise and already have done so that if possible you should stay at the bently. P.s great breakfast !!!!!
