If you enjoy walking this is a great place to stay. Not much activity around the hotel proper, but plenty of places to visit about a mile or so away.

I felt the pricing was a bit expensive for what it was and didn't include breakfast. Location was good but hotel room was a bit worn and tired. kettle unusable, No side lights so when 4 year old went to bed we had to sit in the dark the first night then we asked for a lamp.

We stayed here for 6 days/5 nights. The cost and location were a great value for Dublin. Shopping close by and everything else you need. We flew overnight and arrived at the hotel very early in the morning. The staff was very gracious and got us a nicer room than we had booked and let us check in early for no additional fee. The walk to Temple Bar is probably about 15 minutes. The hotel is on O'Connell Street where you will find everything. There are plenty of deli's, restaurants, etc within a very easy walk. For a stay this long I would have preferred to have a hotel with ac and I wish the beds had been a bit more comfortable. Showering tended to heat up the room, but I was expecting that. If you're are looking for a clean, affordable place to stay, this is it. You can catch the Air Link bus from the airport and get off at O'Connell and from there it's about 4 blocks to the hotel.

This hotel was excellent! The staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. I found this hotel to be a delightful experience. It was only a short walk from the city center and the price was perfect.

Staff were really friendly and made us feel very welcome. Rooms could possibly do with being redecorated and bathrooms refurbished but everything was clean which was all we cared about! A good central location, just off O'Connell Street and very reasonably priced! Thank you very much!

Hotel is located above & beside a very loud bar and across the street from a Lap Dance Club that swings well into the very wee hours. I don't mind a bit of noise when I'm in a city, but this was off the charts. The breakfast is expensive if it's not included, and not very good. On the plus side, the staff are very nice, but someone who knows the area should draw up an information sheet w/useful numbers for hotel residents, as the staff are not familiar with the area. The rooms are nice and clean, but again, if you're planning on sleeping, you may want to stay elsewhere.

This hotel is located near O'Connel street. It is walking distance to really most anything you will want to do in Dublin...if you don't mind actually walking. The rooms are not anything fancy, but they are clean and the staff is helpful. We got there at 8 am, and they would have let us check in if they had a room available. They did hold our luggage until a room was ready and we were able to check in around noon...three hours before check in time. Don't get breakfast at the hotel. You can go down O'Connel street a few blocks and get good Irish breakfasts for much less.

Being refurbished - the newer parts are very smart but elsewhere a little shabby although the room was comfortable, albeit slightly on the small side. Good for an overnight stop and close to the centre.

Excellent location once we located it. Go straight up O'Connell Street and turn right at the church. Street names change frequently here. The building is old but that adds to its character. There is a noisy bar across the street so ask for a quiet room on the side street. They upgraded us after a wakeful night.

the hotel is an 8-10 minute walk from the city center (but only a moment away from the start of O'Connel street...) It was a great find on Orbitz--as we got it for a discount. I would recommend this hotel to others!

The view from the room wasn't too great but that was the only real problem. It was a pretty good price for the room. Also, I didn't like the comforter, it barely covered the bed. But overall, a very friendly staff in a clean hotel in a nice, convenient part of town.

The hotel was very nice. Rooms were spacious and I would recommend to travelers. Only knock is that there was no internet access in the room. Had to use wireless in the lobby. Not a far walk from restaurants, bars, bus station, and a lot of action.

Nice location near center of the city, 2 short blocks uphill from the O'Connell street and downtown area. Quiet area and hotel. Helpful staff. Clean large rooms. I don't think that all rooms are accessible via elevator so if important one should check. The hotel is initially not the easiest to find but locals are extremely helpful with directions. Not far walking distance from the Trinity and Temple Bar areas and near public transportation within and outside of the city.

Upon arrival at 9:30 am room was not ready but they held our bags for our first day of walking around Dublin. Upon arrival back at about 3:30pm they checked us in. Our room was small but ok, we were there during a heat wave for Ireland low 80's. Rooms have no A/C and window faced the sun so room was blazing hot. Phone did not work and desk was not happy about trying to help but eventually came to room and tried it themselves as if they did not believe me. Finally decided to move us to next room over which was much bigger and cleaner, and faced the back in the shade. MUCH BETTER. Free in room Lan access with cable they provide. Hotel bar and food was ok. Good location though, walking distance to most, easy to get a cab.

We walked around the Dublin area. The hotel was okay. Rooms were a little small and very stuffy even with the window open. Kind of noisy, but not too bad. Not many channels on the tv. The ones they did have repeated 4 or 5 times. Bed was a little worn out. Bathroom was nice. Hotel service was good. No complaints on that. The bartender was awesome. Overall, we had a good experience at the Belvedere and Dublin.

I stayed 3 nights and am pleased with the belvedere...the staff was helpful breakfast was filling..attached pub was fun place to relax...location was just right... pub accross the street has from what i could tell the cheapest pint of guinness in all dublin!!!! normally i take the city tours in new citys i visit but somehow it was sunny every day i was in dublin...so i laced up my sneakers and walked and walked.....that was the best thing i could have done i met so many more kind locals and avoided the tourist crowds...also taking the dart out to howth was a great break from the city...i reccomend walking from the howth train station up the old tram trail then having a bite to eat and pint a the pub there..then taking the cliff trail back to the harbour...

Staff was good. Good location. Nice, clean rooms. The one complaint was that the internet (via ethernet cable) didn't work in our room. Free wifi was available in the lobby, which helped. Everything else worked great.
